I know, and I did laugh. Its just that all these testicular threads (Or lack thereof) are in the backroom "News of the Weird" thread.

I was going to post this (in the Backroom) a few days ago, possibly with a tie-in to the Walter Reed fiasco. Then I noticed the date of the mis-operation (June 14th, 2006). I was wondering if the LATimes posted this to pile on to the WR/VA scandal, and decided against bringing it up.

After reading about this, and other amputation screwups, I'm thinking that if I am getting something removed, I just want a local. I want to be awake just in case.

Here in Canadaland, they tell you if you're going into surgery for any kind of amputation, to write on your limbs with an indelible marker, "This leg!" and/or "The other leg!"
