Tested with Drink/Sobriety setup and confirmed. [give_trait this Drink ; followed by a trigger on CharacterTurnEnd that gives Sobriety 1 at 100 if Drink = 1 -> result: Alcoholic]
Looks like a very major bug.
Time to make some fixes to the files....
