My interpretation of this is, if you find a townie with 2x your rating, you can train with them at night time & get 2 points. This is free.

The Kung-fu Master is a day action & costs 10 gold. I just wonder whether the Master has been already assigned as a role, or whether is an NPC.

... If you know someone with at least twice your score and they agree to train you, you can add 2 points (they get one point). You may purchase lessons from the Kung Fu teacher for 10 gold. This take place during the day so they do not interfere with your night action. You get two points or you can get 1 point + learn a style.

I take it when you fight and you have multiple styles, you need to pm Sasaki with the style you intend to use?

Well in this case it will take 7 votes to lynch and the daytime will last until this happens..
The need for bandwagons is a necessity.

Oh, and since we are using another voting system, maybe you should all hold in mind that one or two votes won't pressure anybody to talk. You'll need at least (The required number of votes to lynch) - 2 to put some real pressure on a player.

Voting for somebody because he is "bandwagoning" is not a good reason in this system. As Sigurd pointed out, a bandwagon is neccessary to obtain a lynching, so you can't put suspicion on a player because he tries helping the town in getting a suspect lynched.

So, to put some real pressure:

Mostly because of the sudden change of style compared to previous games. A decent explanation please.

Whenever I am in more than one mafia games at the same time such as Three Sons of Algamar, Monks and Masons 2, and Texas Mafia (not sure this is at the same time), I am very active in one, and, yes, I lurk in the others. I happen to post alot in this one, because I love the concept (Thanks Sasaki!!)

Erm, actually, he's wrong.

To 'bandwagon' is to join a growing campaign against one person for no good reason apart from the fact that there is already a campaign against them.

If we all just voted without any argument or explanation, the Mafia could more easily use it as an opportunity to hide & to get a free kill. So, to avoid being accused of 'bandwagonning', you should try & give your reasons for why someone should be lynched.

This is wrong too. 'Bandwagoning', as explained above, is voting in a suspicious or unhelpful manner; a well-considered majority verdict is necessary for a lynching - there's a key difference between the two.

It's alright to think somebody's argument is good - you just need to explain why you think it's good.

As BK - noise at the beginning of the game is just noise. I don't think he's our man.

Here I am. I come to say that I will have difficulties participating to full extent these days. I'm back in high school, and it's the end of the year, so the teaches are all over us. I thought I'd be able to cope, but after half a day I've already got a couple of assignements.
So, in other words, if I don't say anything for a long time (2 to 3 days) then don't think I started to lurk, please. Just compare my situation to GH's.

For the following reasons:

1. His timing. He may have been watching the thread for a bit before casting this vote.

2. His "safe" voting and language. Saying as little as possible is an oft-used mafia tactic, as is voting for the most suspicious players.

3. His mildly accusatory tone in subsequent posts. Mafia like to appear to be trying to identify scum without angering anyone too much.

I'm not buying the arguments against BK; they look faulty to me. Making ignorant-sounding comments is frequently jumped on as suspicious, but it's not actually what mafia usually do.
