I play pure EB 1.2 using RTW 1.5. No mods no nothing.

But I can not understand why certain actions in rpy disappeared, yet I was sure that they have made.
Even the arrangement of the troops I think it changed. Maybe I have dreamed, but I got this impression: also a heroic victory has become an average victory in rpy ...
I do not know why ....

What version of EB use is standard for multiplayer?

Would like to get on xfire and try a few games but I use Alex mod and doubt it would be compatible.

As for availability times it is when the missus does not have me doing everything else

Does not matter. Those fixes are campaign tweaks, usually preventing CTDs. No nerfs.

Yes. No bi.exe or alex.exe EB.

Just wandering:

1) do i must have exactly identical nicknames in both Hamachi and X-fire?
2) is it required to have X-fire running when playing via Himachi?
3) why do i must have X-fire anyway? Because i can log on to Himachi network no matter if X-fire is running or not.
4) what am i missing?

I also created a network for GMT+01.00 users (im from Croatia), so, if someone wants to play MP via Hamachi, feel free to join:

I would love to play a few games with you guys, but I'm having 6 exams over the 3 coming weeks so no fun for me...

Regarding X-fire and Hamachi: X-fire is just a way to get in touch with other players. Hamachi can hold 16 people in a network and there is quite a few networks, while X-fire has no limitations on how many users you can add. So X-fire can be used to arrange games, but it's not required to play them at all.

i love the EB mod by the way, the best total war experience ever. i have all the games apart from shogun. and this mod beats everything for scale and quality. just need online battles and I'm set ; )

i have everything ready but everytime i've gone to look on hamachi to see whos online both EB00 and EB01 are full, is there other less used networks or any particular time to go on when there would be less people on?
