sheepyhair, I believe you could create your own in hamatchi and call it 'eb england' for example and use eb as the password. post on here that you created it and people join. add me on xfire and when i'm on i'll have a game with you. I also need to have my first games online with hamatchi and eb mod.

That would be the best solution if you ask me, so yes. You could always just keep your original EB folder and install a new, fresh one in a different place on your drive. But that of course, if you have the space to do it.

Can you guys start trying Tunngle? It has a 250 person per room limit. It might be better to migrate over to Tunngle since we can jsut use 1 massive room or use both Hamachi and Tunngle.

Sorry for just popping up, I have played EB for some time now, and it's one of the most fun mods I have ever played, also played TW online for a few years, so I thought I sign up for this, sounds fun! :D
By the way, is it possible to set this up for EB 1.2, if so, how? Or is it just to use the multiplayer launcher?

Download and install that. When you start the program, press the "power on" button and you'll be asked to choose a nick. Pick one and choose okay (or whatever the button say). Make sure your firewall accepts it.

Once you're connected, open the Network list and choose "Join an existing network". A new window will appear asking you to type in a Network ID and a password. As the network ID, type in EB00, and the password for that is "EB". Click "Join" and you'll be on that network. There are more networks than that, like EB01 and EB05 which both also use the password "EB". I don't know about the others, like EB02-04, though.

Anyway, to play, you and your opponent must be online on the same network. When you are, start EB up in multiplayer mode and choose to play on a LAN network. Then it's just for one to create a game and you can play.
