    Default mod question

    i captured most if italy playing as rome and have built level 1 (fully romanized) gov building in all the towns but i cant seem to build buildings that will give me fully romanized units. am i buildin the wrong giv buildings or what? also, in other total war games u would upgrade the city walls to access the next level of buildings is this no longer the case?

    im gonna start a new game of EB with more house rules for eg smaller legions, there seems to be a lot more goin on in regards to events, characters having histories and getin awarded different ranks should i be roleplaying these guys to what they done historically or are these things merely cosmestic to add flavour?

    and finally what mods would people recommend using with EB? I have EB adjusted to run with the BI.exe

    You are not doing anything wrong. Only your starting provinces and Segesta can build Camillian units. Once the Polybian reforms kick in, all mainland Italian provinces (with homeland governments?) can build Roman military buildings. And once Marian reforms kick in you can build Roman MICs practically anywhere.

    I would recommend the "Night Battles, First Cohort, Recruitable Generals" mod by Cunctator, as well as an altered money script.
    The mod by Cunctator is a must-get for Romani players, I think, and the money script is to avoid being besieged by endless full stacks of enemies.

    Balanced as in 'I won't attack you with 20 slingers' or balanced as in 'I won't drain the mercenary pools'?
