EU3 is really not that difficult. The vanilla game doesn't have much complicated features, but it gets way worse (and annoying and tedious) with Magna Mundi. It takes a few hours to get of gist of it.


Victoria on the other hand... I never could wrap my head around it. And though I think the lack of historical events is a huge letdown in EU3, I also think the overabundance of them sometimes makes Vicky annoying: your country is doing great and all, but it suddenly get all screwed up because that's what happened in real life.
