Thread: Make 1 General into 10 Generals

Default Make 1 General into 10 Generals

I was cheating so be warned that I used the move_character command in the console to achieve this exploit.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
If you have a general in a city that you want to clone then move the cursor to the place (outside another city) that you want him to go. Then type, show_cursorstat and then move_character x y (coordinates). Now you will notice that your general can recruit mercs from the territory he was just in even though he is in completely different territory. You will also notice if you look in the city he was just in that he is still there. (although you probably can't see him in the que he is listed as the governor) Never had a city attacked when I've done this so I'm not sure what would happen. Anyway, I think you can do this several times. Just move your general into another city and then do the same thing.

I don't use this myself. I only did this once on accident when I accidently moved my general to the wrong city and didn't want to start the turn over. Nonetheless it has possibilities if you want to mess with it.

Once you end turn, the locations are updated. As such, its not really useful except for 1 turn or as it was intended to be used: move stuff around.
