I have never promised not to drink again and, God willing, I will never will.

Fortunately, if I get truly drunk, I am sick for days and days. I can't remember the last time I got drunk, could be a good ten years. However, last Christmas my buddy's dad and I put a very serious dent in a bottle of 15 year-old scotch, but I can handle whisky better than beer.

(I say fortunately because alcoholism runs in my family so I'm happy not to be be able to be a heavy drinker.)
