    Cool cool trait

I have seen a very cool trait in mine Seleucid campaing.

Have you ever seen this trait
"I should like to see any power of the world destroy this race, this small tribe of unimportant people, whose history is ended, whose wars have been fought and lost, whose structures have crumbled, whose literature is unread, whose prayers are no longer answered.... For when two of them meet anywhere in the world, see if they will not create a new Armenia!

    Yes. Often, actually.
"Let us remember that there are multiple theories of Intelligent Design. I and many others around the world are of the strong belief that the universe was created by a Flying Spaghetti Monster. --- Proof of the existence of the FSM, if needed, can be found in the recent uptick of global warming, earthquakes, hurricanes, and other natural disasters. Apparently His Pastaness is to be worshipped in full pirate regalia. The decline in worldwide pirate population over the past 200 years directly corresponds with the increase in global temperature. Here is a graph to illustrate the point."

Yeah, I got it with a 16 year old once. His farther had it too. Here's one part of ancient history I don't want to know more about.

So... that means he's gay right?
    Why such a veiled explanation?

    Uhh, I don't think so...

I think it means that traits like the third one above Gynaikonomos have more chances of developping themselves. The "worse" traits, I guess. Also, the possible appearance of "The Lewd" epithet might be encouraged.

    I think.

No I just imagine a really f'd up farther and son relationship where the farther teaches the son how to 'inspect' the women in the gymnasium.

Just seemed very wrong so I had them both attack Pyrrhos's capitol, where they both died horrible deaths. ^_^

    No he's not gay...

the veiled explanation helps the comedic intensity of the last line with the smiley... but it isn't as funny when you have to explain it thus...

    EDIT: heh strike three...

Mixing the the phrase does he does his duties well and helps them with exercise would suggest he isn't interested in them, it gives me the idea that he's like an eunuch guarding the harem... Perhaps I just thought too much...

Think more in the terms of "sleazy coach who molests the girls" and you're on the right track methinks.

I've had this one before and for some reason the guy who got it got a good wife and had good kids together. Pretty much saved my empire.

I was thinking the same... How come anyone does not want to learn more about this part of history?
I find the part where it says "... at least he'll be interested in his duties..." particularly funny and defining as definatly not gay ;) remember such concepts where not known as they are today.

    Cheers...

If you're referring to what I said, I didn't want to know because both farther and son were in the same settlement and they both had that trait.

It's a long shot, but have you looked for weekend Gynaikonomos jobs in the paper?

Gynaikonomos is a usual trait especially in KH.

I had 5 generals with it, at the same time. I don't want to imagine all of them in a city

Actually, one of them (can't remeber name it's been a while), also had, a etaira with bad-behaviour, had an affair (I think), an evil mother-in-law and a shy wife. What a family!
