Battle Queue 1264

Though you will be fighting under the Chancellor's banner, this is your battle to command since I am not a Knight. Our Crusade Armies have combined south of Jerusalem and are ready to assault the walls. Only a unit of Mamluk Horse Archers defends the city, but a Saracen relief force of mostly siege weapons will try to intervene. Count Hans and his Crusade forces will reinforce you from the north, though he has had no time to build siege equipment himself. Destroy the relief army and take the city in the name of God! Sack the city if you wish as a lesson to the non-Christians who live there, but no exterminations. OOC: Technically you could use Matthias's night fighting ability to just take the city, but let's make it a little more of a challenge.

Kaiser Siegfried

Your Majesty has caught Ragnald of Vestmanna and his army before they could cross into Antwerp. Since the Danish Army is in our territory, the Pope will not mind if we defend our lands. Crush them, mein Kaiser!

Prinz Elberhard

You moved west to take on Khan Orda. Some of your troops have been transferred to King Salier, but you have enough left to finish the Khan. Again killing him is your priority in this battle.

On his way to engage Khan Orda, Prinz Elberhard has driven Khanzada Jebu south. With men from Aleppo and reinforcements from the Prinz, you now face him. Jebu's forces have no place left to go, finish them and the Khanling!

I wonder if Warluster and FH can incorporate the "kill the Danish King" mission into their stories. The coincidence of getting that mission around this time is just awesome. Also, I too looked at the new save game and whole lot of avatar changes happened. I'll just let OK put out the report to make it official IC.

Gunther died I just heard? Pity just now when DG is on holiday, haven't seen the save myself yet, and I don't know what's going on with the Teutonic Crusade, so I've no idea if Ansehelm himself is even aware of the fact he just became Duke.

Thats why I PM'd you OOC instead of IC. I think its more appropriate if Ansehelm gives the news than Jan. And there is another "Franconian" matter to take care of.
