The Teutonic Crusade is away, finally. I keep my campaign promises. They'll enter Russian territory in 1266.

Great, in that case Ansehelm will still be able to speak in the Diet for this turn.
I plan on withdrawing him from the Diet for the duration of the Crusade, sure messagers will bring the news of victories and for PM work Ansehelm will still be available, but not in the Diet anymore ... tho that does mean some activity loss

Stig, I jumped in and had Jan announce the death of Gunther. I figure that once it is in a chancellor report, it is public knowledge. Ansehelm can and should come in and announce his "rise to Dukeness" though.

We've got a couple options with the Traitor, which is why I kept him out of the Queue.

    First, kill him now.

Second, wait a turn and see if he hires mercs and then kill him.

Option two would be more interesting.

Well personally I wouldn't mind meeting him in Moscow
Nah kill him, either by assassin or with force

While option two would be more interesting, option one makes more sense from a RP perspective. This man just joined a faction we are at war with and is wandering way behind the front lines. He should be immediately hunted down and killed with all available garrison units.

Well, I pm'd you saying that I'd love to kill him, I'm not too worried about getting bribed myself as Gerhard has 10 loyalty, but option 2 sounds much more entertaining. If gerhard gets 'delayed' for a turn that's cool by me.

Will post the rest in the story thread Sir Steffan. I sacked the city and the little money I used to repair the walls.

Well, OK just posted the chancellor report so I'll stop with the teasers. Jens von Kassel got bribed by the Russians. He is one of Fredericus von Hamburg's son-in-laws. Luckily, he was not a good avatar (at least age 50) for players so we haven't lost anything. There was even talk of putting the avatar out to sea in a leaky boat so this actually works out perfectly.

Sorry to DG about his avatar but it was not unexpected. Hope you jump back in soon when you get back. Looks like Ansehelm is duke now officially.

And I'm glad that WL can get back in now that Athawolf is of age.
