King Zbigniew's official position is simply that war between Catholics is madness, and will be opposed where-ever it starts. Denmark has acted rashly, has violated their given word to a neighbor and ally, and yet... It is unusual for Sicily to have had so skilled a man 'training' on rebels so close at hand to their public opponent in a squabble. Sicilian agents have taken very active roles in foreign lands in the past, to the detriment of many, including my own father.
I can only conclude that both sides are somewhat in the wrong, though it appears the Danes have wronged two parties at once. It is not my place to step into this difficulty directly, but I would suggest a withdrawal of agents and a one province 'de-agentized' zone betwee Sicilian agents and Danish ones. Such a DAZ could provide the proper context for a continuation of peace. In my father's tradition I shall make a vow never to invade the lands of fellow Catholics, unless they should attack Poland first.
I would also like to apologize to the Kaiser for, by necessity, declining his generous offer. I trust my loyal ally with my life, but cannot so wildly throw open my back country. I have counter-offered a different region with a similar income and potential.
I must also inform King Simon that one of my wayward generals (That first idiot that matured) is now deep in his recently conquered deserts around Jedda. The fool has no army with him, he simply wandered off as soon as he came of age; I will direct him towards neutral rebel territory as quickly as possible. The Princess' brother is also passing through Sicilian lands, north of Aleppo, after having escorted her to her wedding. I am sure he shall have a safe journey.
I will pray for peace, prosperity, and luck to bless all the nations of Europe!
King Zbigniew
