I have questions regarding the voting rules and particularly this:

In case of a tie, the day will last until the tie is broken. If the tie lasts for more than 24 hours, one of tied players will get random lynched by the host.

So ... How long is a day?
I take it is 24 hours... If there is a tie (like now) when do you begin counting the 24 hours from that tie?
And how random is the lynch... Let's say someone has voted for a mafioso, would the chance of lynching this mafioso be equal to the other players in that tie?

    * Each phase will last for 24 hours, unless the host extends it. If I extend a phase, I will publicly announce this in the thread.
    * If there is a tie at the end of a day phase, that phase will be extended until the tie is broken. If there is still a tie after 24 hours into this extended day phase, the host will randomly lynch one of the tied players.

And that is "randomly" as in completely random

    Ok...

This is your call Andres, but I think that if there was a tie at the end of the day, the random lynch should happen without extension.
Oh... the drama. This could be the solution to draw out the lurkers. Just think of the paranoia it would create

    I agree with Sigurd actually.
Partly as well because I don't like extending fases, it draws people (those that lose interest quickly) away from the game, hence why I had such a strict 24 hour rule.

Well, you can always break the tie yourself by unvoting/voting...

You wasted a lot of time with those PM's. If you're going to post it in the thread then seems pointless.

    @Stig: It's one vote shouldn't freak out.

It serves as a reminder for those people who don't regularly check the thread...

Yes.. but that was not the point. Sometimes the town could use it as a tool to force the hand of the reluctant or the players having a higher stake in the game than that of townie.
A townie should never be afraid of being lynched... the pro town roles and the mafia would be.

Let's say the town put a tie on all the lurkers... would that draw them out? At least the mafioso hiding amongst them would start sweating.

2 mafia and 39 players... It's already hard enough for the mafia, don't you think?

Ok, I'm going to do something to break the tie. Vote for the Australian.

    Unvote: Abstain
    Vote: CountArach
