It was called Cyberstorm and I went nuts when I saw it's review in a long ago pc zone magazine, but have never actually got my hands on it until i ran into this baby:

I loved the second game in the series, it can be played in turn based mode and has hundreds of weapons and systems you can build into your HERCs, it's a lot better then the reviews say, but don't expect *too* much...

I also miss the Earthsiege games, HERC's from earthsiege 2 were somehow a lot more realistic then mech's from mechwarrior 2 games (but mw2 has that fantastic world and the whole clan invasion story)... All the vehicles in the game even had different destructible systems (once you took out the armor) that really influenced how the HERC's and cybrids handled - it was quite a surprising level of detail for such an old game...

I tested this once on a cybrid diablo whom i, once he turned and started running away from me, slowly dissected with a single weakest laser on my heavy HERC, while monitoring the effects on the target's internal systems schematic display, lol...

Most orgasmic startup sequence ever. They did phenomenal job on the sound - every bleep, beep, deep, the engines, the gyro...

Critical hit: engine! Critical hit: leg! Heat sink - destroyed...

They just don't make games like this anymore. Qui aff?

Btw, there are a few great mods out for Red Baron 2, I've noticed that there are enthusiasts around here, so...

Funk music, muscle cars and automatic weapons... I was also a great fan of the coolness that was I76! I played through the t.r.i.p. several times but i've never managed to finish the mission near the end in wich you have to defend that gass station from creeper attack, had to cheat through that one.

    Master of Orion

It was the only game I ever truly pwned. Like play on Impossible and win. Countless hours were spent as the Psilons assembling a massive tech lead followed by the conversion to a wartime production economy and sending forth fleets of future tech ships my enemies had no chance of matching. MUHAHAHAHAHAHA.

It shames me to admit, but when I got bored, I teched up to the point where I could produce one Huge ship that could take out the Guardian of Orion. The game was one of the reasons I barely graduated from college.

When MOO 2 came out, my computer didn't have CD-ROM drive so I missed out, the less said about MOO 3 the better.
