Thread: My thanks to EB team!

Default My thanks to EB team!

    Hi there!

I became a big fan of Rome: total war when it came out. I love the era and a true strategy game from that era was a gift from Ukko himself. But as we all know, the vanilla version is not very realistic so I eventually found R:TW. I loved it and played it a lot. Time passed and the next versions of TW delayed.

Sooooo, I eventually found EB as well and thinked that this could be a nice mod. Tried it, and -suprise suprise- I love it! :)

So, this is just my humble showing of appreciation and respect for the team! Great work, and all good in future!

    -Umnir

ps. I intended to post a picture but Im not allowed to do so before I have posted once. After someone posts reply, I will post it here. :)

    Hello Umnir,

I have to warn you...EB-team members are ingenious and notorious at once...

Let us put it that way: "Customer Related Management" was not their best class in school, if attended at all...well, a hell of a lot history classes instead of these. So noooobody is really complaining...

Big plus: we have the previews, teasers and Delphic hints.....

And Tellos Athenaios: what exactly does "With a lil' luck..." mean? Not that I would expect an answer....off goes the "soon to be" ruler of his 1.0 EB Empire......

"With a lil' luck" = "If we can recover the 1.0 build after an unfortunate mishap with a del key."

on the contrary - we are very good at that
Nobody said customers always need to get what they want - in fact, if we followed the "business traditions" of nowadays, we would scam all of you for money and then give you vanilla RTW with factions' names changed

Sorry to dissapoint you guys, but the picture is pretty lame. :D

I sketched it at work, last hour, a hellish day, got a little free time.

Lame humor, I know. It was amusing to draw though. :)
