my number 1 was somone i'm not too fond of, followed by McCain followed by Romney.

I'll vote Romney in this election, if he is in the runnings.

Why did the chicken cross the road?

So that its subjects will view it with admiration, as a chicken which has the daring and courage to boldly cross the road,
but also with fear, for whom among them has the strength to contend with such a paragon of avian virtue? In such a manner is the princely
    chicken's dominion maintained. ~Machiavelli

It's an irrelevant thing. No one should doubt that Ron Paul has a small core of deeply devoted followers- enough to win many unknown straw polls like this. However, in scientific polling, Paul rarely gets more than a blip.

Paul has some good ideas (as well as some really terrible ideas), but I have no doubt that Paul would be an ineffectual disaster as president.

About time you did and left these geography fascists behind you. Did you notice how only the preppy North Easterners criticised you? From their perspective, Nevada isn't in the Midwest and thus they felt fit to reprimand you for it.

Whereas, of course, from a Texan point of view Nevada is close to the centre of America - Texas - but slightly to the west of it. Hence Mid-west.

Far be it from me to correct a Texan. If a member of the lone star state declares, say, California to be in the Deep South, who am I to contradict? I'm just a cheese-eating snow-state northerner, after all.

Good news, Strike. Your man Paul is actually being shown on some of the polls now. I've no idea what his candidacy will amount to, but it should be interesting to see.

Duncan Hunter is my guy appearantly.... But I'm still voting for either Fred or Romney even if he thinks he's going to repopulate alien worlds with a bunch of hot space chicks one day.
