Re-reading the epilogue of Bern, the final image I get of Dietrich is like when Kane is embracing the GDI Ion Cannon in Tiberian Dawn. Does this mean he'll reappear 30 years later to continue the war?

Possible, although unlikely in 30, that Dietrich will reappear. We did have another von Kassel appear afterall.
