    Default Securicom?

So I got Kingdoms on Saturday and having read this forum I was worried to see what this Securicom horror that everyone talks about is.
Well Ive been playing the game loads and have seen hide nor hair of any Securicom thing. What is it and what is so bad about it? Can I expect an unpleasant surprise?

You probably should read the thread before asking, because that would give you a better idea than what any of us can answer in a short format.

Some things that might interest you:

Can I remove it at will? No.
Is it a malicious program/virus? Not exactly.
Then why is it talked about? The potential of abuse by the game industry in general.
