Had anyone downloaded the new patch yet? We should find out if it messes up save game compatibility for hotseats like Kingdoms itself did.

Would you still happen to remember England's password? If so taking up the last English save and putting up a French one (just add an a to the end of the save title) would help. Then I could see if I can load France's save.

Despite the assurance of the Byzantines that a ceasefire would soon follow the capture of Rhodes there has been no diplomat as yet. Weary of this war of technicality the Sultan has sent his own diplomat to request a ceasefire with the Byzantines, especially since Egypt is anxious to conclude an alliance agreement with Venice. Trade rights and map information were proposed with the Sicilians.
