    Default M2TW or Kingdoms?

I wasn't sure if starting a seperate thread for this question was necessary, but I wasn't sure where to post, exactly. I'm limited on cash and am torn between M2TW and Kingdoms. Maybe some experienced players could give me a few suggestions on which to get first?

P.S. to the moderators here --
If I missed the proper location to post, please point me that way and accept my sincerest apologies for starting a clone thread.

For Calvin and TosaInu, in a better place together, modding TW without the hassle of hardcoded limits. We miss you.

Kingdoms is standalone ? Oh, I didn't know that. LoL!
If you remember me from M:TW days add me on Steam, do mention your org name.

M2TW Kingdoms is an expansion and thus requires M2TW to play it.

I would recommend you getting STW+MTW+RTW for the price of getting M2TW. Those together will be more fun than the latter overall IMO.

What the previous posters said is also true: Kingdoms is an expansion (well, a mod you pay for actually) for M2TW and is not stand-alone.
Want gunpowder, mongols, and timurids to appear when YOU do?
Playing on a different timescale and never get to see the new world or just wanting to change your timescale?

I think he already has Total War: Eras, he mentioned that in the Entrance Hall. I think you should get both anyway.

    Ah I see.
    Still, I wouldn't recommend Kingdoms.
It doesn't really improve M2TW that much (in fact, it is a separate mod rather than an expansion with very few minor exceptions) and doesn't fix any issues that M2TW has (and introduces some of its own).
Besides, there's also that thing about SecuROM depending on how security conscious you are.
