patch 1.2installetion problem

I downloaded the patch 1.2 from strategy informer, unpacking done correctly but while installing its says missing voice3.dat filling msg but the file is thr plz some one help. thq

Did you install it right? (reinstall M2TW then patch to 1.2?) But it sounds more like it may not have downloaded right.

The patch should be 613 MB
1. Install it over a clean 1.0 (no 1.1 patch and no modded files)
2. if the voice3.dat problem continues to be there, do a complete reinstall of M2TW:
- unistall Vanilla
- clean your registry of any link to SEGA (an left over link is usually your problem)
- defragment your hard-disk (some people have claimed that it worked)
- install Vanilla
- install patch 1.2

You just need for than 4GB of free space before installing the patch.
Best way to do so is to make a completely new install before patching up.
When you do so, also delete the m2tw folder after uninstalling before reinstalling.

Patched from 1.1 with no problems. Confused.

*shrug* 90% of people going from 1.1 to 1.2 can't run their games anymore.
