Oh, good. I was afraid it was flash based or something. My internet is too spotty for anything that requires a consistent connection.

Can't join. First I get a message saying I am banned from the game. Try to register again and get this error.

"The board administrator is no longer accepting any new registrations at the moment."

Guess I should wait a day and try again?

I pretty much only have one computer with a decent internet access. I could try it on my other one but it would be dialup.

Banned was from the official site for the game, other error message from the forums.

Variable Outcomes should join an alliance, you are easy pickings for a tech raider, I'd like to suggest that you join The German Empire. The people there are friendly, and will be able to turn you from a third-world nation into a technological superpower.
