crash after finnish a battle

hello.
i am playing with the romani and i am in the year 220bc
and the only crash that i have is when i finish one battle and i click to go to the campaign map i have a crash and the game exits to windows (xp) with no messages of the error.
the crash are randon, i can play for 2 hours and then i have a crash or 30 minutes.just to said that i had this crash since the begining of the game.
I have all the fix installed and the only mod that i have is that i put the marius reform to 230bc.

Please upload your savegame. In order to get past this crash, simply autoresolve the battle.

However, if you have little RAM, you may get less such crashes by purchasing some more, 2GB is ideal for playing EB. Also try to wait 10-15 seconds before dismissing the battle summary, some people report that it will reduce the frequency of post-battle crashes.

thanks for the reply, but maybe i didn´t explaint very well.

I play the battle and then when i click the button for the campaign map it crash for windows.
then i load the game ( i save almost every turn) and reload the savegame.
i play the same battle and when i click the button for the campaign map,this time he exits to the campaign map. I can play for another 1,2,3,4 hours and nothing happens or i have a crash.Its very randon but is always the same crash, when i exit the battle and go to the campaign map.But i alway can pass the battle in the next time i reload.


I already have 2 gb of ram but i going to try to wait 10-15 seconds before dismissing the battle summary this night.

The same thing happens to me as well. It's quite annoying. Especially right after I play a very long siege battle with a heroic victory, and that's happened at least 2 times these past two days already.

These random crashes could be due to a trait trigger. It's very hard to know when it doesn't act consistently.

I had this same problem and i would say it constitutes 90% of my crashes. on average the game used to crash for me about once per 2 hours of play, or once per 5 battles.

I tried EVERYTHING on the forums and nothing helped significantly (except i didn't upgrade ram for financial reasons) but the one thing that really solved this for me was, i stopped saving before battles. I have now gone for over 30 hours of play with only 1 post battle CTD and i just rely on the autosaves i never save my games manually. I now have a new computer with 8 gigs ram i'll see how things go but if i get CTD's i'm going to try not saving again i'll report back how it goes.
