    Default mongol recruitment

    Can they recruit dismounted lancers? cannot find them in the building list. either barracks or walls etc

    If not can it be done by adding a entry in the capability field for the above.

    Through modding some game files, yes.

    If it is not listed (use CTRL+F to verify, noting the exact name or partial name from the unit file), you can certainly add it. Just copy/paste an entry for another mongol unit and then adjust the name and any other factors that you want to change.

    Then run the game via bat or io

    Default Playing mongols

    Hei, dont want to make a new topic, but I just cant find the topic where there was an instruction on how to play with Mongols in Kingdoms teutonic. The descr_strat thing playable unplayable doesnt work. Or am I doing smth wrong??? Can anybody help!?

    just take mongols out of the unplayabe/unlockable and put them in playable. Make sure to cut and not copy.
    How to unpack specific files to they respective folders:
    make a new .cmd in Medieval II Total War\tools\unpacker and put this inside after you right-click edit.

    Tnx for answering, but it doesnt seem to work. In Medieval 2 there was different with saving, but in kingdoms you cant save to the basic textfile descr_strat, but you have to save to a txt file called unlocked. After doing this(also cutting the mongols to the right section) when starting Kingdoms campaign there are no mongols added. Only the lockable HRE and Danes are added. Dont know why, I left them uncut. Can anybody guess whats wrong or how can I save mongols in descr_strat file, not unlocked txt file.

    Ok, I started to think a bit by myself. Managed to make it on my own. If someone has also same problems, I can help..
