I'm afraid this is rather vague. Perhaps you could record the exact error message the next time? I a couple of suggestions for you, one is quite technical and the another could become very technical.Originally Posted by Vincent_Valentine
* Run scandisk on your harddrives. Include a surface test. This will take a lot of time with exclusive access, so do it overnight or right before you're not going to be using your computer for a while.
* Download Memtest from memtest.org. Similar to the scandisk, leave it running overnight or when you're leaving your computer, for the same reasons. You can only do one of these two first points at a time, however. If it gets through 10 passes without problems, your memory is peachy and not part of this problem. If it comes up with errors at any point, you have a problem and this is where this one gets very technical. Let's take that after we see if it indeed is a problem.
* I want you to increase the amount of virtual memory to at least 2GB. There is a good guide for how to do this linked in the installation validation sticky. Ask if you're clueless after reading that.
* Please run the installation validation and post the results here (using Axifile, Rapidshare or another free hosting service).
