I was considering a more defensive plan being that we have natural defenses with the trees. We don't know the proportions or where the enemy is located so it seems that waiting at least a turn and positioning ourselves may be wise.
Keeping Skirmishers on the sides should hide our cavalry from enemy sight (this being entirely contingent on our ability to move cavalry through trees) and I'm hoping that our artillery will be able to hold off enemy skirmishers and with 5 units of infantry a square should be able to easily hold off enemy cavalry
My unit of engineers can build temporary barricades for the center units if it would help and my unit of skirmishers can be moved to the center to protect it from skirmishers.
It seems that this will be a multiple turn afair so it seems like we might as well be careful in stage one
Another option would be to advance to the hill at the center of the map and placing our artillery on top of the hill and then using the trees to the right for cover
What does everyone else think I guess we don't have to long. Hopefully, we will have a response from all of the captains by the deadline. It seems important that if we do attack it be in force so we should have everyones agreement
