Well it's not facebook in of itself, it's just that I can't really handle sites like myspace. closest I got to that is GaiaOnline and I stopped going on so much every since I told my nosy brothers girlfriend about it.

A friend of mine actually had to make a myspace for me, and I'm a bit apprehensive of it.


Oh and just PM all of the Tavern members with the links and whatnot, as TA -really- hates this kind of stuff, maybe for good reason, but I enjoy debate :)

Debate is cool, but forum discussions about RL politics or religions have a high tendency to quickly get out of hand and become disgusting personally attacking disputes which have nothing to do with reason.

Another community I'm active in has the simple policy "No Poltics, no religion" and as it causes some unrest (I sound like a governor in EB :D ) when such specific threads are closed immediately by the moderators, most people agree that such topics are better discussed personally or at least via voice, may it be Teamspeak, phone or whatever. This way discussions stay almost always reasonable and calm as misunderstandings can be nullified right away and one doesn't make an aggressive "full scale" attack on the other when you can't hide that well behind your forum animosity.

The last time we had something like this in the Tavern, we managed to keep it down and civil and it quietly died. This one, well, went on a little too long and a little too far though. Alexandros, sorry, I didn't know you were joking. But anyhow, it's no joking matter.

So, has anyone actually set up the Facebook group? If not, I'll do the creating since I already conveniently have a Facebook account.

Okay, the EB Tavern group is up on Facebook.

Just go to Groups and search for 'EB Tavern'. I made it closed, so request for an invitation with your Org name just so I recognise you and can approve the request.

and considering i dont play EB much anymore, there isnt much reason to come back here....
