I'm not au fait with all teh patches/upgrades, however from past experience I'd be amazed.
There are times I wish they’d just ban everything- baccy and beer, burgers and bangers, and all the rest- once and for all. Instead, they creep forward one apparently tiny step at a time. It’s like being executed with a bacon slicer.

I think Alexander was a once off test into the internet only sales market. Nothing more.

My understanding is that it did not sell well, but CA won't release information on sales. Don't forget they released the Alexander add-on without fixing all of the problems in RTW/BI. The bug in the phalanx battle mechanics was thus propagated to the Alexander add-on.

I'd blame the limited replayability more. I like Alexander but I've only bothered to complete it once because I can play turn-limited Alexander and Macedon... or for a change... Macedon?
I hope the Kingdoms mini-campaigns are more in-depth.
Well, M2TW Gold should arrive in the post tomorrow and I'll find out :)

I'd be surprised if they added another expansion for MTW2. IMO, they basically did four expansions already.
