    It used to bug me that I couldn't have the full battle because of that issue. Not a problem anymore for me however .

    I once got this error message when I launched a night attack against the enemy even though there were no reinforcements.
    4 Seasons (6 Empires battle for supremecy); 3.0 version
    Total War Eras (start at 970, 1080, 1200, 1300, 1400, or 1500); 2.4 version
    Eras Total Conquest (start at 1230, 1346, 1547); 1.2 version

    In my current Spain campaing I noticed my pope have decided to be the last pope.

    Yeap, it means that there will simply not be any pope. The first priest/bishop to be promoted as a cardinal will become new pope on instant.
