I've verified that Res Gestae 3.0 uses a unified animation pack too.

I've done some test with Signiferone's hoplites animation and unfortunately it doesn't solve all the issues I'm concerned with (you still have to use short_pike attribute to make them properly charge, which means having back rows spears pointing the sky) and it has a new issue itself (during the charge the spears point the wrong direction!

I'll make some more tests messing with attributes and perhaps mass values...if anyone has any suggestion about it it would be great.
