Thread: Spirit Mafia [Concluded]

  1. #241

Default Re: Spirit Mafia (In Play)

I don't think we should vote Sarathos, he probably will get WoGed at the end of day phase... if he isn't, we lynch him the next day (We should have enough number of people left right?)

Anyhoo, why would the mist guy target ED? Maybe because the Mist thought ED was mafia? The mist guy hasn't killed every round right? So I think the mist guy is the vig... maybe?

    Vote: CR

Bad vibes... That's right, thats my only reason...

Too much to do today and the wireless connection is being a pain in the butt. Will try to get on and analyze later.

Ever since Sarathos last voted (Rnd1), there has been 3 voting phases. Shouldn't he have been WoG-ed then the following (this) night phase? Or am i missing something?

Sarathos never seems to post, maybe he just likes signing up to games?

Anyhoo he rarely participates so if there are still killings I'd bet he was innocent.

Simple, he most likely had a role (lack of WoG) that didn't let him post, a handicapped role I believe.

If I was alive, I would FoS everyone I revealed myself to, since I suspected each and everyone of you. Sadly, I overextend myself in my attempt at a poor mans investigation, and now there is nothing to go on.

But what's the point of being a townie if you can't post or vote? That doesn't really make any sense at all- there can't be a reason for that except to be an extra body for the mafia to lynch. And usually, the mafia goes after people who do post, right?

I was drunk in a club and then sleeping it off (Though the red bull sort of prohibited that...).

I can't help but feel that most of the inexperienced players have been killed off because we are up against some of the 'big names' as mafia, who know that the big names are much more likely to arouse suspicion. So now, we must ask who fits the profile of someone who would do this. If I am correct, that would be at least one of Omanes, GH and perhaps CR (He has always been quite tricky as mafia).

    Vote: Omanes

That said, Chaotix has struck me as somewhat scummy - he voted defensively as soon as an opportunity rose.

Err... what about you? If I understood your wording correctly, you did something similar, because the last person to vote before you, voted for you. Then you found a reason to put the spotlight on someone else...

That said, your logic in the rest of the post is very sound. However, might you yourself be considered a "big name"? I haven't really played enough games to know...

Wow, I got bandwagoned even when I was here.

And no EF, I don't just sign-up for games. When I do I intend to play them, especially now when I am on holidays. But I think something is trying to forbid my from the .Org because every time there are goods games and interesting stuff school either gets very busy or my internet useage is maxed out. Which is very easy in a house of four computer which all use the net constantly. So I apologise again to makaikhaan, and all you other players. I shall see you all in pevergreen's huge game, if anyone os playing.

Oh btw, I was town. Good luck all.

I really hope there are other killers than the mafia (and that they have reduced the mafia a bit).
It seems the spirit which makes the victim kill himself has targeted confirmed roles. First YLAC and now El Diablo. And a role that can't post is a sure lynch candidate, especially when in the game rules you are past the WoG point.

I can't see GH complaining for not getting a mafia role in this game. Could it be?

After the day's discussion, Omanes Alexandropolites was selected for lynch. Though Makaikhaan felt like giving another tirade about the servants' inactivity, he was simply to tired to go through with it. He was handed a sword by a servant, and quickly stepped up to Omanes Alexandropolites. He rose the sword, ready to bring it down upon the servant, when another servant spoke up. Sarathos
exclaimed, "Please, kill me too! I can't take it anymore. Its too much to deal with!" Makaikhaan shrugged his shoulders.

"Very well, get down with Omanes. Sarathos kneeled down next to his comrade. Makaikhaan raised the sword, and brought it down upon the neck of Sarathos, then in another sweep, Omanes. He flipped the sword back to the original servant, and strode back to his sleeping quarters for the night.

Three (or, if we got lucky, 2) of which are bad guys. I'll be the eternal optimist and guess: we four (or five), despite the ugliness of the baddies, can 'take' these bad guys, and prevail.

That's not correct, because I used reasoning to vote for you - you simply agreed with someone else's reasoning and contributed nothing else. I also did not vote defensively - which means that I would've voted for glyphz, who voted for me.

CA was sitting alert outside a door, clearly looking for anything moving. His head swiveled left and right constantly, keeping a constant alert. His attention was taken when a shadow crept along a wall down to his left. He scrambled to his feet, in a guarded stance against whatever might be the source of the shadow. The shadow grew longer, until a dark, bipedal creature turned the corner to face CA. CA rushed the creature, whilst apparently searching a sleeve for something. He pulled out beaded rosary, and began to hum a chant. However, the creature was having none of it; it opened a bag it had held on its shoulder, and from its empty contents a torrential wind blew, knocking CA off his feet, sending him tumbling backwards in disarray. The creature bounded forward quickly, and stepped on the left wrist of CA, which still held the rosary. CA's grip faltered under the immense pressure of the being's foot, and released the rosary. The creature then grabbed CA by the neck with its other hand, lifting him up from the ground, face to face. The creature dropped the bag, and used its now free hand to plunge five clawed fingers into CA's midsection. It tore and twisted at the insides of CA, finally ripping the hand, as well as a large quantity of blood and entrails, out of CA. It tossed the now limp body to the floor, leaving the corpse behind, content in its mission.

A tall, bipedal creature stalked the hallways, looking through one room after another, passing each by as though what it found did not satisfy it. The air around it exuded a bluish crackle, just by its passing through. As it turned reached a t-corner in at the end of a hallway, it stood up straight, then began a walk back through the same hallway. It walked purposely towards the end it had come from, then took a right at the first t-corner. It followed this to another t-corner, where it took a left, then ascended a flight of stairs, then following that hall to what appeared to be a dead end. There was no rooms, just a large window that offered a scenic view of the castle courtyard. It looked out the window, and in the moonlight, saw another being in the moonlight outside, standing above what looked like a body. The sparking creatured put a clawed hand to the window, cutting a large hole in the glass, a screeching sound echoing through the dead end. It finished cutting the large circle, and pushed it out into the grounds, before jumping from the third story down to the grounds. It approached the being it saw earlier. However, it stopped short when it saw the being laying hands upon what was now very clearly a corpse, which was now beginning to decompose slightly. Out of sheer curiosity, it stayed back, to see what was happening. The other being's hands were set on the chest and belly of the corpse. The hands began to glow a bright yellow, as though they were exuding pure sunlight. It shone out bright and clear in the dark night, where previously the only source of light had been the moon itself. The light seemed pure, sparkling. Even more astounding was the reaction of the corpse; where previously had been gashes and holes, flesh appeared. The same light began to shine from its eyes, mouth, and ears. The original creature decided enough was enough. It bounded forward towards its equally strange counterpart. I raised its right hand, electricity gathering and sparking from the hand. It shot the electricity out as a charged bolt.

The other being raised its head, becoming aware of its attacker. It merely nodded its head in response to the bolt headed towards it. Without warning, appearing from seemingly nowhere, twelve great spirits arose. The twelve stepped together, each with a sword and shield, forming a link between the two beings. The bolt of electricity struck one of the spirits, but was merely absorbed. The attacking creature held up both hands this time, a great, dark cloud accumulating rapidly above the combatants. Thunder sounded loudly above, and great, purple bolts of lightening descended to the attacker's opponents. The twelve spirits moved with blinding quickness, stepping into the path of each and every bolt, and absorbing the charged particles. Bolts continued to rain down upon the field, but not one could penetrate past the guard of the twelve spirits. In the meantime, the defending spirit had returned to the corpse, attempting to finish the job at hand. It continued to pour the pure light into the body, and wounds continued to stitch themselves, while cold and gray flesh became warm and tan. The defending being suddenly stopped; the corpse began to rise from the ground.

    YourLordandConqueror
suddenly regained conciousness, confused. The last thing he had recalled was being in his room; now he was somewhere in the courtyard, while lightening struck around him and thunder sounded. He gazed up at the being which stood before him. A bunch of spirits were swooping around, and a second creature stood in the distance, seeming to be the summoner of the strange weather. He would have to figure this out later...

The thunder quickly ended; the lightening bolts soon after. The twelve spirits ensured the survival of the pure and kindly being. They returned to its side, between it and the lightening-wielding attacker. Each spirit raised a hand, and, with a massive blast, shot out the electricity each had stored during the assault towards the attacker. Only through a nimble jump backwards, all the way back to the window from which it had leaped. The attacker suddenly shook its head, as though it was shaking the cobwebs out. A confused look temporarily overtook its face, however, when it peered down at the spirit guards which stood formidably before the two on the ground. Not looking eager much longer for engagement, the lightning being withdrew into the castle halls.

How is he obviously pro-town? Could you explain?

From the write up, and also the fact I have not been informed I have to do anything remotely anti-town. I doubt makaikhaan forgot, and Kukri hasnlt told me otherwise. If the town wants, I am at your disposal and will investigate how ever you wish. Just put it to a vote.

Okay, I'm a bit confused. What in the write-up proves Kukri's innocence?

You say you haven't been informed you don't have to be anti-town. Why would you bring that up? Does it mean that you might be a pawn of the one who resurrected you, as was the case, IIRC, in one of khaan's previous games?

I'm also unsure of what this means:
