No one knows if he is to respect his former king's wishes, or go on his own...?

A boat has pulled up in the port flying the Makurian flag. The current diplomat looks nervously at it wondering who it could be

He has started to worry when he sees that it is not the royal messenger but a lowly court servant. He goes down to the docks to investigate these strange happenings

Diplo: What are you doing here Kyriakos? Where is my messenger?
Kyriakos: My Lord while you have been away from the kingdom a most glorious event has happened. The commoners and peasants have received word of your devious and treacherous dealings with the other nations. The denial of trade rights was the final straw, litteraly! They couldn't afford any more! As a result they have taken up arms against the king.
Diplo: Oh dear... I assume it was successfully dealt with? I suppose the messenger was killed and you are his replacement?
Kyriakos: Well I am a replacemant... Yours. The Great Revolt was successful the king has been forced to sign a treaty forcing him to listen to the people. And the first edict was to replace you!
The diplo sighs Ok then i was getting bored round here anyway. I will be expecting a full pension and a cushy job within the palace.
Kyriakos : LOL for your own safety the king has decided that you can never set foot on Makurian soil again. Pulls out a daggerThe diplo falls down stabbed through the heartnoooo i was just following orders *cough splutter EUHGHG

    Kyriakos enters the great assembly

Dear fellows, diplomats from around the world,
I have come here representing a new regime. I would first like to offer trade rights with the omani and ayyubids. I would also like to request a 2 turn ceasefire to sort out the mess the king has gotten the country into.

    Untill next time

It has come to the attention of Kyriakos that the Makruian diplomat was in fact already dead. He now wonders who it was he actually stabbed??

The Omani's Diplomat would raise a brow.

So... does that mean you withdrawl the Declared war that your former king has placed upon the Omani Arabian Empire...?

(OOC: Nice little intro, laughed alittle, but yeah, try to not put any more action into this house!, it's for diplomats! lol!)

Quttub rises with a joyful expression on his face. His eye is much improved, but he has an enormous boil on the end of his nose which seems ready to explode at any instant.

The Great Salahuddin will be pleased indeed to hear of this change of heart from the Makurians!

I am delighted to accept the offer of trade rights on his behalf, and extend our warmest wishes of friendship towards our African neighbours!

It is the great wish of the Roman Empire that the Ayyubids, Makurians, and Omani people arrive at a permanent peace treaty, possibly a defensive alliance to keep the region secure.

    Makurian delegate;

As you may know the Omani government has been overthrown, but the previous leaders did in fact declare a state of hostilities between your nations, and Rome unilaterally and without condition offered you aid and assistance. (this has been entered into the public record)

Not only that, the entire Western Coalition was prepared to mobilize on your behalf.

You have friends and allies in the Western Coalition, and should you choose to leave our great alliance, that is your prerogative. If peace and friendship can be made between you and your neighbors, Rome will be able to focus on more local matters anyway. Know that Rome will be your friend for all time.

You may request to leave the alliance without offending the Roman people. Until we hear such a request, may we assume you are still our allies?

The emissary of the Sindh enters the chamber with a solemn look and addresses the representatives.

I bear ill news today gentlemen, war has broken out. My Malik, on receiving a report from agents within the Rajput nation, determined that there was no other sensible course than to strike first, and strike hard. The evidence of Rajput aggression was the build-up of their fleet on our border, and the gathering of mercenary elephants at the city of Kutch. In response the Malik drew up our own fleet to drive away the Rajput one, and, with the aid of certain Sindh patriots living under Rajput rule, captured the city of Kutch and put it's garrison to the sword.

The fleet then moved on to blockade the port at Somnath. The Rajput city of Mumbai also lies under siege.

These last two actions should serve as a warning to the Rajputs, we know your treacherous Hindu ways and we will not stand idly by while you plot our destruction. Throw yourselves on our mercy and your people may yet be spared! Continue on the path of war and you will join your gods and be forgotten by history!

The Sindh emissary then moves to sit with the man from Ghor.

Perhaps the Hindus would like to plead their case, and extend a hand of peace now?

The Sindh emissary rises to make an announcement,

With no peace deal on the table my Lord saw no choice but to proceed with the war against the Rajputs. On that front we wish to announce the fall of Mumbai and Somnath, and the besiegement of Ajmer. Defenses at these settlements were slight, as were losses for the Sindh army. Annihilavara was not taken under siege per the request of the noble Omani diplomat, Allah willing they will soon place their own siege of that city.

I also wish to announce that several Sindh generals have taken up the cause of the jihad alongisde their Muslim brothers. May Allah most merciful have pity on the heathens and gather up their children in his hands!

(OOC: I was quite surprised to find a jihad on since there was no announcement! I've never had a jihad in BC so I don't know how they work. Should be interesting.)

Quttub the Ayyubid ambassador rises to address the Turkish delegate. His skin is pale and wan with a yellow tinge, and his breathing is shallow as he supports his weight by resting a hand on the table in front of him.

The Great Salahuddin welcomes the new Turkish emissary!

Our nations were once allied through the Golden Crescent Confederacy (which also includes the Abbasid Caliphate, the Imamate of Oman and the Malikate of Sindh), until a previous leader of your nation decided to turn his back on his Islamic brothers and instead join forces with the infidel Romans and Crusaders.

We would like to extend the offer of renewed friendship and alliance to the new Turkish Sultan, should he wish to reconsider the actions of his predecessor and rejoin the Golden Crescent Confederacy.

He may wish to do this in preparation for the accession of a new Basileous at Constantinople - who knows whether this new ruler might decide to return to an aggressive policy against the Turks of Rum?

In contrast to the Arab's statement, I would ask that you remain in our Western Alliance that is already established. The previous Turkish ruler did not turn his back on the Golden Crescent without a reason, I assure you. The Western Alliance consists of nations that surround yours on all borders, and thus remaining inside it would assure you nearly flawless defense of your empire. On the other hand, the Golden Crescent is wide-spread, and without the assistance of each other, they would easily fall to a full scale attack. Thus it is in your best interests to remain allied to us. I thank you for listening to my case.

The diplomat of Jerusalem sits down.

Quttub turns to the Latin emissary with a quizzical look on his sickly face.

Is the Crusader King now given to threats in order to secure his alliances?

'Join us, we surround you, wouldn't it be terrible if you were to have an accident?'

Should the words of such a man be trusted? A man who would ignore the Great Salahuddin's peaceful approaches and plot secretly to invade his lands?

And how is the Turk to be assured of the faithfulness of his neighbour the Roman, if the identity and policy of the Basileous is as yet unknown?

We can only hope that the Turkish Sultan will stand up to such bullying and refuse to be cowed!

oh do shut up you snivelling fool, the turks are already are allies, nothing would of been said if you didnt feel the need to expect them to betray us, the ERE are most pleased with you my turks friends, and your previous ruler was close to my khan, we should unite once more, under the western allaince to join makuria, Eastern Roman Empire, georgia, armenia, kingdom of jerusalem, the great seljuks and our peoples, the kypchaks to raise a defense against those infidels to our eastern borders, the 'caliph' whos arrogance has truely offended cilvilized folk, while they greedyily ask other nation to give them settlements, these cunning abbasids want turkish, sind and seljuk regions! the omans, whos greed and trade ambition wont let them stop at anything, as they threaten to attack the makurians and underhandedly conspire against the indians, and finally the egypts, that snivelling fool who believes our friends should be submitted to slave trade! and brings vast armies to cilvilzed borders! well the western coalation our proud allies with your peoples, i hope you continue this, or you will really ruin our plans of a more peaceful society (decimator, the last turkish guy was on the westerncoalation, iask you stay in it to else our plans will be obliterated, to many people come and go, i think it would be harsh to leave our coalation now at such a crucial time)

Come now, we both know that I was in no way threatening the Turkish Sultan. I was merely stating the reasons why it would be advantageous to side with the Western Alliance as opposed to the Golden Crescent. These reasons:

Firstly, allying with us would secure nearly all of the Turks' borders.

Secondly, we are already allied, and there may not be a reason to break the alliance anyway.

Thirdly and most importantly, the Western Alliance and Golden Crescent, while not openly at war, are on opposite sides of a conflict. This is easy to see. If one member of the Golden Crescent, for example Oman, were to start a war with, say, Makuria, a situation that seemed not so unlikely just a few years ago, the other members of both alliances may be involved, causing a huge war across the Middle East. Assuming the Turks were on the side of the Golden Crescent, even if they tried to remain neutral, they would be under immense pressure to join the war against us. In that case, they would indeed be surrounded by enemies on all sides, and would stand little chance against a joint attack between Rome, Armenia, and Georgia. This is all hypothetical, of course, and Jerusalem in particular hopes a huge conflict like this can be prevented.

The Omani's Diplomat would stand up and adress the turk.

Now I must say, This council is of Peace, The Turkish People can choose what ever allies he wishes, Even if it is both of our Alliances, The Omani's Arabian Trade Empuire is ofcourse willing to accept an alliance, though not being that much of support, but more of a Symbolic Treaty.

To note that first of all, The Western Colition Failed to react, as we speak, the Georgian and Seljuk Turks are back at war again, a peace that none of us thought would last long, So far None of the Golden Crescent Confederation has responded due to the fact that the Seljuk launched the attack, and second, the Western Colition seems to have abandoned the Georgians.

The Omani's Arabian Trade Empire refuses to aid to any, As the Jihad had called all noble muslims to fight the Infidel Hindu nation that borders the Ghorid Empire, and has also sent troups to help protect our Allies the Sindhs from a possible attack from the Much larger Hindu Tribe.

Most of the Western Colition as you see it, Talks of Wars that do not exist, And hopefully will not exist, Nor shall the Turks be forced to allies with such nations, just due to the fact that they surround him, The Golden Crescent Confederation is not a large and Corrupt alliance, We give the choice of our Brother's a chance to protect one from another, If the Western Colition was thinking of making such wars between the nations even possible, I can assure you that The Islam countries would rally to the Caliph's Side, As they are busy warring with different people, but for the same Cause.

A nation invading one nation is one thing, It is how Empires form, It is how our countries formed, Though, When you add the allainces this big, You are talking about not only simple conquest any more, But a Whole World at War, and we must make sure that that never happens, Or much life will be consumed, Culture Destroyed, For what? What if one side does win this impossible war that we hope never happen?, Will They call it the perfect world? No, It is not how Human Nature Works, Once one alliance is gone, They will turn against eachother, Backstabbing one another. That is Why the Omani's Arabian Trade Empire Refuses to aid any country that has very little or no interest with us, Conquest is personal buisness.

For once, I agree with nearly everything you have said, Oman. However, your statement that none of the Western Alliance has assisted Georgia yet is somewhat underhanded. For one, Georgia is further away from the rest of the Alliance, a distance that only the Turks, who are recently recovered after a coup, or perhaps the Kypchaks, could cover since the war recently started. However, the rest of us certainly plan to assist Georgia, if not militarily then economically.

you act to give the turks a choice in there allies, then end in a fashion saying ally with the golden crescent, you hipacrite, just speak your real views instead of supressing them for some fake friendship, and gets worse when you say we've took no notice of georgia, unless your dubious peoples have spies in his lands, ones that tell you false infomation, then you'd no that two massive armies patrol georgian territory, one of which plans to aid them lest a war erupt, your futile comment is beyond me! then somewhere along your jiberish i hear you say you refuse to aid anyone, then say we wont help georgia, when we are as we speak? how far above me and the coalition do you think you are? because from where i see it your nothing, you dont even, and never did aim for peace, and this is the result!

The Omani's Diplomat face palms at the barbarian.

The Turks have all control of who they ally with, And as a speaker of ours, we offered, You though forced.
I also can tell that you are bluffing about the armies, Their would be almost no reason why the Khan's armies would be inside of Georgia when your area is still very rebellous, Either you are bluffing, attempting to scare me which has no effect as the Trade Empire is not engaged in this war... Or your khan is not sane any more and plans to invade a land so far away, that even you're Fake Pagan Gods that every one forgot about will laugh at you, watch and your empire to wither away if that is what you choose. Either way, We do not support this war due to the fact that Even though the Georgian people are at war with Brother Islamic People, and Allied to... People like you..., They still show respect at all times, unlike you. Also that they are defending in this war. I do wish Georgia swift luck, As they are one of the more understanding countries. We again, Wish Georgia a hopeful outcome, that we are against the war from us, Though, I can not speak for the other Islam Nations.

For the Crusader States, I now understand about that, And I ask for you to forgive myself and my kingdom for saying that the Crusader States lacked Curage and Honor of keeping their word to help a nation in aid. It may be easy for the Trade Empire to forget that it is very easy for troops to be sent on boats to assisted lands, though, By land, It may take a very long time, We appologies if We have dis-honored the Crusader States, We ment it not. May you assist in Georgia in any way. May your gods be with you friends,

The Noble Turk Diplomat, Tell you're Sultan that either what you do, Ally with the west, Ally with the East, Ally with both, The Sultan knows what is best for his Empire and his people.

The Omani's Diplomat would bow at the Turkish one, Then the Jerusalem One, Sitting down obviously ignoring the barbarian.

Friends and people of thsi council, after great deliberation my nation has decided to mantain its western allaince and not be part of the golden crescent allaince. We wish to be at peace and have trade rights with everyone. Omani diplomat you made rather good points but we will keep with the desicion that our ex-tyrant made. To show our pledge of allaince we are going to support Georgia against the seljuk sultanate.

The turkish diplomat bows down to the golden crescetn diplomat, and goes greate the western allaince diplomats and then seats down taking a little slurp of wine.

The Abbasid emissary, after being quiet for too long, speaks..

So be it.. So be it..

This war between Seljuks and Georgians have to end. If ANYONE in the Western Coalition would help the Georgians militarily then my masters, the Almighty Caliphs, forces will help the Seljuks as well! We do not want war near our borders! This should be solved between those two diplomatically!
I say this again... If ANYONE will help the Georgians militarily the Abbasid forces will march against Georgians. So Kypchaks.. do you really want to play with the lives of another nation? Do you really want to bring war to your 'Ally'?

Emissary sighs and takes his seat again...

The Omani's eyes open as he hears the Caliph's Emissary

...Now men, Let us all calm down, There must be some way how to conclude that their will be peace between the western alliance georgia, and then Golden Confederation Seljuk turks, They have both been at war constantly before we even thought of forming either of our alliances... I say we either make peace, or let them duke it out with conditions that will not bring all of our alliances to war. Maybe a Conditional Pact, where each nation will recieve economical aid from others, but not military force? A war that would bring in the Caliph might bring in all of Islam... Which i have no desire to march my men up to these lands.

Do not get me wrong people of the Council, I support fully that you will honor your conditions, but so will the Confederation, And with this, will draw a War in a unheard of scale. This is why I try to change the problem that is Quickly Raising!

My freinds, let us not get this to a higher scale and let the georgians and seljuks resolve there difference without help, as we can't know if the other sides helps or not then leth the help be purely economicly.
