You're right Prole but still....She said it I mean comeeeee onnnnnn
Writing in Han Solo might just be as effective, but we owe it to ourselves this time around to really just write in Ron Paul.

I'm just surprised this time around the conservatives didn't try to trick me with the 'yeah, GWB is an idiot and everything, but if you vote for the other guy the SUPREME COURT IS AT STAKE!!'. I fell for that hard last time. Sorry.

these losers, turn back on your soccer or football, something that might actually matter in your personal lives. These debates are just another joke and it's embarrassing when you see smart people falling for it.

Btw, I've got a new recipe for grilling tri-tip that I'll post in the front room this weekend. It's a smash hit and it will actually be something tangible and worth pursuing this sunday, unlike this sham we stage every few years.

See when I come in with this kind of pessimism people yell at me and tell me murder is "illegal" I blame gender bias on the forum. As an 18 year old I went from being very excited to wanting to cut my wrists because of this. I really hate what my country is becoming and I want to change it but at the same time I have more important things to worry about like where my booze is coming from and if I should take the over under on the game on saturday. At the same time though we hafto ask ourselves when we stop pleasuring ourselves and start pleasuring others. My friends my family are all suckered into buzzwords and issues that really don't matter. We cant keep going on like this you know that...I mean unless you like socialism and debt with an oligarchy at the top. America is losing what once made it the greatest country ever created As I sit here and watch us descend into mediocrity and classism I just get sad

My aim, then, was to whip the rebels, to humble their pride, to follow them to their inmost recesses, and make them fear and dread us. Fear is the beginning of wisdom.

I am tired and sick of war. Its glory is all moonshine. It is only those who have neither fired a shot nor heard the shrieks and groans of the wounded who cry aloud for blood, for vengeance, for desolation.

I am totally unsure as to whether you're saying you're leaning more Dem or Rep Strike, but I can say that we on the left very much feel this way too. Only thing really is, we feel like this "descent into mediocrity and classism" has pretty much been going on for a long time now. The last 8 years are pretty emphasized, but it's not just that. The moving our our manufacturing overseas pretty much spelled out bad stuff for us. Imagine us talking about issues with a balanced deficit.... things would be way different. I hate the feeling of so much debt hanging over us, and also the feeling like we can't do so many great things because of it.

Im neither a Dem or GOP supporter. I am an extreme social liberal and fiscal conservative. The one man who is close to my views in congress is RP. All governments eventually descended into absolutist states the key to buying the citizens more time is to make them as weak as possible without hindering the state. The founding fathers knew this. We dont.

This thread has run on rather too far to be easily incorporated into the Election thread, and it is a subject that perhaps deserves some separate attention.

However, we have already begun to stray off into unrelated territory which presents the danger of two concurrent threads on the US elections. The eventuality has been deemed a Serious Hazard to Fragile Sanity by Health and Safety organisations in thirty-seven countries and consequently, I have to beseech you to keep on topic.
