At a new top-secret (non-CA) location, surrounded by lots of steel and glass, high atriums, hordes of lovely marketing ladies, and with a new and spacious desk with plenty of room for body-moving.

The future is cloudy... beyond that I couldn't possibly comment ;) However, the chances of us using SecuROM are -extremely- remote. We'll be announcing something about it soon (tm).

All that I wish is for ETW to provide tactical and strategic depth. Lately I have been hooked to warcraft 3 and it is really a great game. It has the mass market appeal, moreover its brilliant balance provide a tactical and strategic depth that is unparalleled by any other game I played.

The whole argument that mass market appeal contradict with complex gameplay fails. Look at Starcraft, it is like a national sport in Korea now, still being played at pro level after 10 years of release, with new strategies and innovation still possible.

I really miss TW MP, and I really hope they get this one right... Just don't dumb down the game mechanics and provide good balance...

a nice simple disk check tied up with a CDKEY, so that i feel like i purchased a product rather than rented a service.

i loath being at the mercy of online authenticatio nservers.

it would be great if they dropped the SecuRom, i am happy to buy the game and have it run with the cd or whatever as it saddens me greatly that i would have to abandon the Total War series because of an ineffective and invasive attempt at DRM.

i don`t go near pirated games myself, even if SucuRom normally gets cracked a day or two after a game using it gets released.
