Completed it. Apart from a few niggles it was a thoroughly enjoyable title. Enjoyable enough that I'm now on level 3 of the playthrough which carries over your guns and upgrades, despite intending to start Fallout 3 the moment the credits finished rolling. I suppose I will complete the second run by playing a bit now and then. Going back to the start with all your goodies is so much fun, and I didn't use anything other than the plasma cutter so I still have most of the other guns to try out.

I found I sped through it after level 5. The unique factor on that level killed the System Shock 2 flashbacks, meaning the game no longer bothered me. It's amazing how much quicker you get about when you're not peering into the shadows and inching along.

The mad doctor said we would die together. I never saw him again. Gah! Blowing his head off would have been oh so much fun and I was looking forward to it, thank you very much! Ditto blasting Kendra's trecherous little behind.
