The story so far...

You are Michael. Based on the position of the sun, its a few hours after midday. You are standing in a shopfront, with a police officer, Krystal. Your girlfriend Avril, and best friend Louis have seemingly been kidnapped by a man and woman. You are in Brisbane, Australia, but you are French, and you do not speak or read english. You have in your possession: An emergency flask (water), a mobile phone (switch off, low battery) and your wallet, containing photo ID and a plastic card that gives you public transport access.

What happens now is up to you.

I think an order of business that should be made first is the acquisition of some information on the local crime scene. Perhaps our officer friend can help us with this.

You step outside and take a look around. Multiple stores line the street. Bus stops are every 10-20 metres or so, along both sides of the street. Highrises everywhere, but to your right across the street, there is a break in the buildings, its a big open square. The street continues on out of sight, staying straight. There are a few intersections either way. You must be in the CBD, due to the number of tall buildings along the road.

They did indeed. I woke up about 7 and a half hours ago, home 5 hours ago. No pain yet, still numb etc.

I don't trust myself to update this right now, hopefully I'll remember when I'm up to it, otherwise give it a bump.

Pain wasn't so much the problem, rather that my cheeks got big like crazy and I was not able to eat solid food for quite some time.
