Maybe by holding certain cities, you can redirect the big trade routes somehow? (like the shift of the amber route from going to the black sea to going for the adriatic because of the rising roman demand)

So the final number is 16 or 22? Not sure how that helps exactly... I said- "if control of a certain number of these places along a trade route gave extra "monopoly" bonus." Not sure how much is capable in MTW2 engine as lately been a couple times surprised what mods were able to accomplish by thinking about something differently.
It might be possible to make the resources such that control of some regions produced much more income if a certain region next to it was also controlled or trade pacts were established so that control of a trade route in the middle of a war doesn't produce much income but when at peace the trade income is much higher? Eh... sounds like it should be simpler than that.
How the hack do the numbers help?
Maybe there is going to be a uniqe building for the 16-22 cityies?(How is this spelled?)
And the Syrakousai have a unfair advantage... It's first in line...

Muwahaha! Ichon said the magic words again! Should I give it to him for accidental guessing? Even though he likely doesn't even know what it is? Hmm. . .
I think you are right. He makes ancient version of monopoly ;)

Probably monopoly as in the MTW:2 merchant agent feature Monopoly, i.e if your merchants control all the resources of a single type in a region then they get a monopoly bonus adding to their income-gain.

I thought the monopoly part was a joke :D... LOL... I guess it's true.
I'll gladly vote as well.

So I guess there's going to be an EB version of Monopoly released soon? I'm excited. :) Will it be a Flash game? Or a download? Ooh, ooh, will it be multiplayer???
So EBII will you allow to build hotels if you collected certain cities and wait for hostile FMs to walk in so you can charge them enormous fees? Economical warfare in a TW game? THAT would be new
Now, irony of:
Will it be like if you hold certain cities, you will be able to "create" a trade route or something which will boost trade?
My Others:
It's been awhile since I played EB1...a little over six months now...but I forgot the names of some cities I central focused on. These are the cities I was thinking of:
Sweboz capital
Cassi capital (londinium)
City with Ynus Mon wonder
my other-vote goes to eather cherasone, seleucia or ephesos
I have gathered all of the images I need! And here below is a sneak preview of the first 20 minutes of very rough work.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
I have chosen 10 cities from the poll and I would add 9 "others": Sinope, Charax, Alexandria-Ariana, Gader, Ambrakia, Ekbatana, Susa, Byzantion, and one more on English Channel, but I have never played in this area, so I don t know which one is the most profitable one.
I would actually play that game Tanit, you could make some very interesting Chance cards.
