Not that I have a lot of choice in the matter.

All this 'random' voting is a lot of pith and vinegar.

That's a highly coincedental vote for an incedental vote, Sasaki...

For what it's worth as they say, I believe Double A to innocent.

    -----------------------

4 Double A (Nightbringer, Classical Hero, Rebel Jeb, ATPG)

4 ATPG (Thefluffyone93, Jarema, Yaropolk, Sasaki)

    3 YLC (Choxorn, Beefy187, Ironside)

    3 AKWC88 (Robbiecon, Greyblades, Glenn)

    2 johnhughtom (Winston Hughes, YLC)

    2 A.C.I.N. (TinCow, God Emperor)

    2 Classical Hero (Renata, Beskar)

    2 Glenn (dcmort93, woad&fangs)

    1 Nictel (autolycus)

    1 Insanious (pevergreen)

    1 Skooma (Diamondeye)

    1 Choxorn (A.C.I.N.)

    1 TinCow (Cecil XIX)

    1 Beskar (Secura, ByzantineKnight)

    1 Khazaar (Khazaar)

1 Captain Blackadder (Frozen In Ice)

    1 pevergreen (Insanious)

    1 Beefy187 (Skooma Addict)

    1 Winston Hughes (johnhughtom)

    1 Seon (DeathisYonder)

    1 Sasaki Kojiro (Motep)

    1 dcmort93 (Double A)

5 Abstaining (ReenkR, Seon, Nictel, Csargo, landlubber)

41/47 players having voted this round

    ----------------------------

It looks like "Random.org" is 'randomly' attempting to keep the tie.

EDIT: Looking at the post count, I am going to Unvote; Vote: AKWC88 in direct obedience to a primary rule; Lynch the lurkers; since AKWC has been active since the game started but hasn't yet made an effort.
Come on round Warman and I will remove my vote.

I don't think Atpg should be in our first day tie. The man just finished running an absolutely epic game for us, the least we can do is let him play beyond the first day in the next game. Personal preference in who I like to play with in the list of people with more than one vote on them leads me to say unvote: Nictel, vote:AntiKingWarmanCake88
My game on Civfanatics could use a few more!: MNOTW XVII: The Cursed Blade!

What are you basing that on?

Also please note; tie in name only. Double A has the advantage over me in that regard, since he has a free vote.

This still smells like metagaming to me. It won't break my heart to sit out a big game once in a while.

I base that on my opinion his behaviour only. It isn't much, but it's more than I can say for the other candidates for lynch.

I also wouldn't like to see Double A lynched because I don't think it's possible to prove anyone guilty on day 1; I disapprove of randomly lynching someone since this directly favours the mafia; and I would prefer to see deliberate lurkers lynched.

Difficult to base an analysis on round one behavior. Only time I saw behavior-based voting on round one was the ATPG mafia. I believe Sasaki went after Jolt because of the way he reacted to pressure. I do not believe any significant pressure has been applied to anyone yet. I think such analysis will be flawed. Random has the advantage of not being biased and will utterly ignore deceptive tactics.

I'm not sold on Double A; the only reason I am voting him is because that is the best option available to me due to the votes on myself. I would prefer to lynch a candidate which I chose based on nothing in particular; voting someone because of pressure on me is a bad choice. My other options are to ignore it, which I know will leave zero pressure on any actual mafia, or to withdraw my defense and simply accept being the D1 lynch, which I've done in the past and typically adds more to the bandwagon on myself. After lecturing others on the pointlessness of big wagons in the last game, I am loathe to put one on myself round 1 based on old habits.

Instincts tell me odds of lynching scum are lower in the current vote setup where one of the two tied parties can break the tie in his favor. There's just no way that's tactically advantageous to the town. Not much I can do about it here either, except point it out.

Well, Chaotix doesn't allow no lynch. I will keep my vote off of Pizzaguy for now.

Voting Warman or YLC instead of you still has the problem of I am only voting for them because they aren't me.

I'd much prefer to just vote for the person I legitimately picked out of a hat, and accept the consequences.

    unvote, vote: Johnhughthom

Thank you for your thoughts ATPG, I admit some of my attitudes have probably rubbed from Sasaki, since he applied the same method to me in my first game of Capo II, when I was very new, impatient and antagonistic.

I agree with what you wrote, no one can disagree with someone who wants to survive, since that is the objective.

I put my vote on the candidate who is a best at mafioso trying to avoid gaining a profile and at least utterly useless to the town.

Questions for the host: Will alignment be revealed on death; what is the result of a tie vote?

    Ha ha ha!

Well if my last vote doesn't count - nor does this one since it was also edited, which means one less vote for Warman, which means a tie.
