On Star Wars, this game is an oddity because 10 players replaced another player after they were killed as a townie. These players are treated as having played 2 games within one.

For example, Sasaki started as a townie, was killed and then replaced CDF as another townie. He ends up with 2 draws for Star Wars (because Town have drawn the game).

Not sure if that's the right way to approach this. In the previous example, I suppose that Sasaki could be awarded only one draw because his two "lives" end up drawing, but it cannot be handled the same way if the result are different (for example, starting as a townie, and replacing as a mafia in the 2nd life, like Chaotix in Lylat Wars). Anyway, like I said, games where players can replace after dying, are an oddity and special cases to handle in a statistical point of view. If someone has a better idea how to approach this, I'd be nice to hear it.

I suggest that when a replacement player had previously died in the same game, that only the first role is counted. I was one of the double-role players, and I personally always felt like my initial role was my real one, even though I played my replacement role longer. The initial role is played for yourself, the replacement role is played to keep the game enjoyable for everyone else, so the initial role should be the one that is counted.

This. I do think players from outside the game to replace should be counted though (like I did in Daggers).

    agree with sentiments shared above.

only the first role should be counted for statistics purposes, unless they only joined as a replacement to begin with. However, if someone wins the game, they can still say that they have done so. But statistically, they died before winning.

That makes it fair on players who didn't get to replace in, who might have also won if given a second life.

Alright, thanks for the replies. I think it make sense to keep only the first life in this case. I'll make the necessary changes when I have time (not now, busy day).
