A Bus Driver item (or ability) targets any two different players of your choosing and switches them.

Any effect (such as investigation, protection, murder...) will be deflected to the other target, and vice-versa, for all effects going to a target.

Does not apply to actions coming from the target.

Typical really, lost my hard-won item to a thief. I imagine there was a lot of stealing attempts last night on all those who won items. Anyone else got a similar experience to me?

Various stuff from the write-up that struck me as mildly important:

• Relatively quiet people were killed, I would have expected the more talkative players to be silenced, but I guess in a game governed by such strict rules on talking it wouldn't have mattered much... still, it tells us a little about their strategy, I think.
• I was having some unfounded suspicion on Arpeg because of his blatant vote-selling, so I wasn't too surprised by the fact that Arpeg was a serial killer. Guess the policy giving one item to one person worked! Also got some questions for Subotan and others who (I think) gave item votes to Arpeg for several items without justification/before Arpeg started to publicly deal in votes - a sign of co-operation mayhap? It is more possible that they were of the same Mafia faction instead of being co-operative SKs of course.
• At least 2 other factions still has not suffered any kills... very lucky? or simply very organised/aligned with Chaos?

Also, right now I think we should stick 1 credit wagers, as some person a few pages before said.

I wouldn't be informed about any unsuccessful attempts but I guess your experience is most likely shared (if at all) by recipients of unique items (IIRC yours was the only bullet-proof item), as the majority were retaliation items.

Latched on very quickly to save his skin, not to mention clearly attempting to quietly deflect attention, worth at least a second look into methinks.

Some comments on the deaths:

The Flax looks the likeliest to have been Arpeg's night one victim. Both attacks are described as a dark figure, with mention of orbs of dark energy or similar.

Classical_hero and Diana Abnoba may have been killed by the same player. The descriptors don't match at all, but they don't contradict either, and the other kills all mostly do. Together, you'd get a masked figure with green eyes, killing with a chainsaw (devastating weapon). Does that match anyone in the potential character list? (And if not, anyone from a different mafia game that ATPG didn't run? Seon's real role was from Shadow Fort and Arpeg's from Legend of Zelda.)

Possibly (just possibly), B-ray's night one death and the attack on the Black Knight on night two are linked. B-ray's described as being attacked by a dark figure using a burst of energy that blows him apart. The Black Knight's arm is "blasted" off by a "strange being".

At a minimum, the following deaths don't seem to match anyone on other nights:
Kagemusha, night one: fireballs or some such, massive towering figure
Csargo, night two: muscular figure with black wings and a spiked mace

Similarly to above, do these match any known characters? Csargo's killer in particular is very specifically described.

One vig item was reassigned during day one, but it was a killer rabbit, so obviously not linked to anything public.

Ok, so I actually wasn't silenced last night, just having some fun posting images but more important business needs attention. Also, as was just asked, someone also stole an item from me too, and in fact partly with that at least two people probably know my identity. If you're not a scum (chaotic or whatnot) you really need to both read what I'm saying today closely, and come talk to me.

Now, here's what is really important. The last night might well have been the luckiest night ever in a mafia game and we have huge opportunities moving ahead here. There's a ton of things I'd like to talk about or try but I'd wait on collective input, if you people are interested in factional infighting or such petty stuff there's no point in me getting in the way of that right now.

However, what I'd like to hear is if we can get about 7 folks who can promise to put defeating the chaotics ahead of other goals. Need that made clear in thread unless you have another way, a faction reveal would be nice. I'd be doing the same in any of these scenarios about myself, pretty soon too if that wasn't clear, but we need more of that.

Alternatively, I need to hear from just one person who can promise 100% bus driver success in the forseeable future and have some way to maintain this in the event of their death. Or if it requires more people or whatever, just somehow on the bus driving, whatever it is.

Hopefully we can get comments on the above by about halfway through the day and I'm ready to get back to you all. And actual comments of course, not OMGUS style votes because of this proposal, I'd ignore those.

I obviously think Major Robert Dump should role reveal or die today. If you asked for my quick thoughts - I was suspicious of ArpTHIS last night for getting into the whole silencing discussion, and MRD also traded item votes to ArpTHIS yesterday on top of possible chaotic connections already described.

However I'll throw this in - for every accurate and precise detail about his character that he reveals, presuming it also indicates his Innocence (evil), I'll do the same, revealing the same details about me that is regardless of the above. Just for kicks, throw some zaniness into this game.
