No Krusader, Norway is not yet online.
Enjoy online play, ACIN.
Anyway, the rumors are that Europe and Japan will go online at 4:00 Dutch (and Norwegian) time.
PS: Krusader, shouldn't you be working on EBII instead?![]()

If they're giving away Infamous for free, I'd highly recommend it to anyone who doesn't have it already. Definitely one of my best PS3 gaming experiences. Just remember to choose the evil path.... cuz good is dumb.
I'll probably get Dead Nation, but I don't know what I'd take for my second freebie.... none of the others really interest me.

LittleBigPlanet of course, it's nevernding awesome. But you already own it. Don't you???(!)
I actually have none of those games. LBP isn't really up my alley(I think), because its creativity based for getting longevity out of it. Might go with Infamous and that racing game, which looks pretty good.

Sony gets hacked again.
CRA hacker group has engineered yet another attack on the computer networks of Sony Corp, a setback to the Japanese company's efforts to move past a security crisis that erupted in April.
The group, which calls itself LulzSec, said on Thursday that it broke into servers that run Sony Pictures Entertainment websites, and then compromised the personal information of more than 1 million Sony customers.
Sony officials could not immediately be reached for comment.
It posted some of the data it accessed on the Web -- including the names, home and email addresses, and passwords of some customers. But said it did not have the resources to extract and publish all of what it collected.
"From a single injection, we accessed EVERYTHING," the hacking group said in the statement. "Why do you put such faith in a company that allows itself to become open to these simple attacks?"

And interesting thing I found on the escapist about this:
http://www.escapistmagazine.com/vide...3350-Anonymous
I lurk on Reddit.com and there seems to be a lot of older people that used to be part of the 4chan culture back before anyone even know what 4chan was. This is what one of them said in a comment responding to the video you just linked to.
So more likely than not, it isn't the "Anon" that we think of.The origins of Anonymous and the true nature of it are an amusing sort of thing.
For those who don't know, allow me to brandish my "oldfag".
Well before 4chan existed, it was an amusing hacker lark to fire up the ol' DoS bots and overload certain websites with more traffic than they could handle. As servers got better handling this, one person with a handful of bots couldn't do take downs anymore and people serious about .. erh, let's just call it 'internet vandalism', formed into more cohesive groups of like minded individuals. Which was sort of a good thing, as the actual thieves stealing data lumped together in one area while the vandals taking down and occasionally rewriting websites huddled together in a different corner. Oh, and the software crackers and re-distributors generally sailed off on their own pirate ship. We're talking 56k days here, folks.
The evolution of a hacker is a bit like pokemon. Everyone, theoretically, starts off as a 'gray hat', the morally ambiguous area of packet sniffing and harmless DoS attacks. Once you get inside a system is where the chips fall.. if you get in and just peek around, it's still pretty gray. If you get in and then tell people about the break in and how to fix it, that's a white hat brownie point. Conversely, theft and outright destruction are black hat affairs. There's business models to being either a white or a black hat, but gray hats that stay gray hats are more often than not hobbyists (I'm not talking out of my ass, I did years of IT security in college).
In the early years of 4chan, there were organized 'Invasions'. This was characteristically gray hat vandalism, sometimes not even requiring any sort of 'hacking skill'. Script kiddies and normals were welcome to come along to things like Habbo Hotel, but legitimate invasions were where DDoS attacks and website vandalism came into play. Generally speaking, most of those attacks were harmless.. new files put up, existing material left on server. And before long, it became standard operating procedure to expose whatever interesting or embarrassing material a person or company might have had. This seems to be the root of "freedom of information" seeping out of the original "because it's funny" intent.
For those that don't know, Anonymous took off as a name and a face around the time V for Vendetta came out, as is apparent with the Guy Fawkes masks. Around the same time, Scientology was making stabs into the mainstream with more celebrity supporters as a swamp of murky information involving bullied former scientologists and the reports of the inner workings and beliefs of the 'religion'. It was a hot topic on 4chan and Scientology websites became a target for Invasion, pushing more information into the open. And then it bubbled over. 4channers organized actual protests in person, concealing their identities with the now ubiquitous Guy Fawkes mask as a sort of a "faceless champion of the people". They weren't just people standing around with signs, they were "Anonymous".
From there, it's gotten complicated. Although Invasion seemed okay sharing the fruits of their cyber-attacks with the public face of activist 4chan (Anonymous, circa 2007), dissent began as people began claiming openly to be part of anonymous on facebook and myspace, idiots without skills or any understanding of Invasion's nebulous moral code that were trying to steer the new herd of masked protesters into other social causes. Invasion vanished from the public face of 4chan, and the trend of showing up to protests in masks quickly became a tired fad in the eyes of the general 4chan population. Anonymous was essentially put in the closet.
Then, the evident offspring of Invasion resurfaced; the tenuous values of before still evident in Anonymous' new identity, that of mischievous but righteous hackers. And it's carried on to present day. There remains a cloister of individuals with IT security skills that are entirely willing to take down sites and services for a laugh, and publicly expose any incriminating data they find in the process.
As EC points out in the video, the Sony attack doesn't fit into Anonymous' MO. If they had done it, there would have been laughter and expose at precisely how lacks Sony's security actually was; replete with port numbers, platform versions and directories. And nothing would have been stolen. Compromised, maybe, but not stolen. Yet information clearly as stolen, and in some cases used for identity theft. And in the end, that Sony claims to have found a note saying Anonymous did it; before Anonymous themselves would claim it? Ridiculous.
Given their track record, Anonymous' hacker activities have been quite explicit in claiming credit for any significant outage or information reveal. What this video highlights is a problem Anonymous now faces; they've become too famous by name alone without outlining their cause. People are idiots. They don't understand "because it's funny". Exposing security flaws is funny, but disabling a popular service is not. Exposing secrets which affect the public is funny, divulging the names of everyone subscribed '2HotTrannies.com' is not.
What Anonymous does, is humiliate organizations whose actions could cause problems for the world at large (particularly internet users), it doesn't strike out against individuals (unless they're -really- asking for it) and even then, the intent is humiliation and laughter. It's schadenfreude. And the PSN network doesn't fit into that category.
Store is up again, because it's Sony the promised games are nowhere to be found
Noticed it. Wonder when it will be up. Will pick Infamous and dont know if other will be Dead Nation or Wipeout HD/Fury. Already got Little Big Planet and Ratchet & Clank is supposed to be only four hours worth of content.
Though downloaded Burnout Paradise and new Magic game for free since I got Plus sub and a buttload of demos, including Duke Nukem Forever. Gonna test em later.

Seems like they changed their mind about a month free PSN-plus as well. Get Imfamous should a miracle happens and Sony keeps their word, excellent game
Anyone up for a game of FIFA 11?
Still waiting for LittleBigPlanet and InFamous. It will probably be a few more days, so they can be heroes on the E3.

You know, is this not all just a massive wake-up call for Sony? You could say it is their fault they got hacked, since the store almost all of their users' information unencrypted, so once someone finds that information, they have no trouble actually accessing it. You could also say they have made many more enemies in the past months, especially with their affairs with 'George Hotz', the guy who put linux on his PS3 and told other people viewing his blog how to do it to their own PS3's. Had they not taken such a hardline approach with this talented young man, none of this would have happened....
