Resulting to insults to silence an individual is in poor taste and deserves a lynch all of its own. It also signals scum to me at least.

I apologize if you feel insulted by what I wrote, but I was merely stating how I perceive your play style. Active/Lurker, Making cases/not looking for scum etc.. are play styles, none is clearly better as they all have advantages and drawbacks: I wasn't insulting you.

I could reveal the questionable and laughable methods I used to arrive at his name. Given how early in the game I picked him out, I can't say for sure he's guilty. But, he's certainly been unresponsive to my votes, after being semi-active in the beginning. I want to see what happens if we string him up by his toes. Will he sing like a canary, or will he go quietly into the night?

Is aware of a "scumtell" here on the ORG, perhaps too concious about it. The reason isn't really a good one to vote someone, in my opinion, but I guess it's nice of him to give a reason, specially because I think this one makes him scummier.


It's ticking me that he had to add "following Visorslash", kinda like washing his hands off this vote because a confirmed dead Townie is pushing for Connie.

No reason given, is 4th on the Connie bandwagon. With the case I've made on Connie, it's too easy to just go "me too" and/or give no reason to vote for a popular candidate, but hey it's not enough for me. You gotta do your share of the work, find your reason to vote someone, or at least develop a little on why you think that player is suspicious. If you don't, it doesn't help the other Townies analyze if your vote is genuine or not.

Basically I'm voting Bruno for similar reasons I've voted Connie: He apparently not looking for scum, and that's gotta count for something. Either he's scum, or not worth keeping for the endgame since he ain't working the solution. I say let's get rid of him.

Except GH has never mentioned his name as WoG material, and he was voting for three days in a row, going silent only when I voted for him.

So, a Frank lynch is getting rid of someone who is either ducking the thread on purpose, or someone who will be wogged anyway eventually, but not right now; and if he's scum, letting him run amok in silence isn't my idea of a good plan.

People respond to pressure or they die. That's how I look at it. There are two rules that I live by:

May I ask why you weren't before?

It's not inconceivable that a scumbag could decide to flirt with a WoG to make it seem like they're too inactive to be mafia. It's a strategy, designed to misdirect.

Missing large portions of the opening game doesn't make you scum, but it is one path that a scum might choose to avoid being lynched for 5-6 rounds. An explanation would be nice.

I'm kinda new to these forums, so maybe this whole "inactive, lurking players are mafia" is all good and true here, but in my experience, mafia tend to be very active, pointing fingers all over the place, jumping on or creating bandwagons and warning against them at the same time, making bad cases on about people who don't defend themselves and generally speaking, being very loud about people who aren't active, making for easier lynching of anyone but them.

I'm always wary of those who are too loud about something or just trying too hard.

Interesting. Perhaps you should point out examples of 'impressing' posts that have been made in this game so far, that has helped point out real scum.

And bandwagons? The only time I've been part of something that can legitimately called a bandwagon, was Connie's (revealed to be Centurion1) demise. And since I've voted for her the previous day twice (including the extension), I doubt you'd call that blatantly joining one w/o showing any reason.

(edit: anyone do feel free of assessing my activity/voting record and not simply assuming what he said as to be true. Besides, I did admit my assumption about possible mafia gender roles does not hold solid ground, and did not further pursue the case w/ posts made via mobile device )

Dear Bugsy, you certainly should put more effort in assessing someone's activity, instead posting a really half-a$$ed one. The way I see it, a) you did not take this seriously at all, and hastily at that; b) Trying to place false suspicion on someone, then washing your hands off the case by merely casting a FOS c) make yourself look good by jumping on a dead townie's uncertainty about someone ( Earthling's, which I believe is not even of scum suspicion).
