I think you're scum, the almighty random is always right... I want to point out that this case has as much credibility as the wagon on Blackadder, still people seem to jump all over that one ^^

Which case are you referring to? Secura's or yours?

Personally I don't think there's a better case than GH's. Even if the setup makes it possible for a bad guy to make such a claim, I'm not seeing why he would choose to do it so early. My guess is that he really has information about Captain Blackadder.

And like Renata said, CB should have been more aggressive in his reply, if he really was Town, because in his eyes the accuser should be misguided. Yet he's not voting GH, not even voting anyone. Why is that so? I think he knows that he's been caught, and there's not much defense to be made.

Do the rules forbid quoting things from anywhere private? (If so, can we paraphrase things?) That would explain GHs behaviour if he's seen something there... if it's not that, his case might be good but from what's in his post it's nothing

And I was referring to my "case" which can't really be called a case, I was just pointing out that GH's case as it stands is not much more... I'd still like to see some explanation for it... and even though it doesn't really do anything I think I'm going to pressure... unvote, vote: GeneralHankerchief

GH's case holds a lot more than a random accusation because he's putting himself in the spotlight and will become a target for the mafia if he's telling the truth. Such a *strong* case is rarely available on Day 2, why do you hesitate? It looks like you're pushing to get more information from GH, when there's no real need for it. If GH is making a play, we have time to catch him later, particularly if he's still alive when he shouldn't be.

My question is, what reason does he have to withhold the information that leads to his vote if he's an honest townie?

I'm not hesitating, my vote isn't needed on the CB-wagon... I'm trying to pick up some other hints and put pressure at other people...

Also how does he make himself a target in a game where the Mafia will not be able to kill him for a while?

I'm not going to explain myself beyond the fact that I have a good reason to vote for CB. Yes, this way I'm keeping everybody guessing. This is intentional.

We cannot be sure how long it will be before the mafia can kill, but at this point GH may very well be their first victim if he's truthful, thus yes he'll be a target, albeit perhaps not immediately (or perhaps yes, what do we know of the mafia abilities anyway?)

I may change this if an explanation is not posted. GeneralHankerchief: the only way I can think of that you have solid evidence is if BlackAdder was the target of a failed conversion, in which case in order for you to know this means you are in one of the cults.

If there is some sort of PM traffic that you were part of that incriminates BA then the town would very much like to be privvy to that info.

    Edit: wasnt bolded

Well I haven't got any messages from anyone. I have no idea how GH came up with his view that I am scum. He is wrong on that front and should be lynched. I have thought overnight and the only reason that I can think of him doing this that he is scum. ATPG doesn't like investigators so I doubt their is one in the game. Which means that he is a cult leader that attempted to convert me and failed. This makes me think I might have a hidden ability on that front. My role pm doesn't mention any ability to resist conversion however the rules do

Town will have incorruptible members who cannot be converted, their goal is town victory only.

    DAY TWO

The Pizza-eaters gathered together, and began accusing one another of being heretics, once again.

This time, the charismatic leader of this group, a General, began accusing one of the lower-ranked peasants of being a dangerous heretic!

    GeneralHankerchief: "General says vote Blackadder!"

    Most everyone: "Okay!"

GeneralHankerchief: "Hmmm..... General says touch your toes!"

    Most everyone: "Okay!"

GeneralHankerchief: "All right..... General says do the chicken dance!"

    Most everyone: "Okay!"

GeneralHankerchief: "General says, stomp your feet, and wiggle your ears!"

    Most everyone: "Okay!"

GeneralHankerchief: "Now, strip completely naked and run around screaming 'shabba-dabba-doobie' with your eyes closed!"

    Believer: "SHABBA DABBA DOOBIE!!!"

GeneralHankerchief: "Ah, ah, ah..... I didn't say General says!"

    Believer:

    Askthepizzaguy: "Are you crazy?"

GeneralHankerchief: "Crazy like an escaped mental patient! Now bring Captain Blackadder to justice!"

Askthepizzaguy: "All right. I guess I will. Are you prepared to meet your doom, Captain?"

Captain Blackadder: "Hmm.... let me think. How about no, you silly banana. You're all a bunch of sheep! Sheep I tells ya! Baaaaahh! Baaaahhhh!"

Askthepizzaguy: "Sheep, you say? Well, you gotta admit this is a..... sticky.... situation...."

Captain Blackadder: "Wait... that doesn't even make any sense! What does sheep have to do wi-"

The magistrate raised his revolver and fired it at point-blank range, splattering Blackadder's brains all over everyone. Slowly, the headless body of Blackadder slumped to the ground.

Askthepizzaguy: "All right. Something tells me there's still more of them out there, and we can't even be sure Blackadder was guilty. Everyone, I order you to go get some sleep!"

Everyone slowly started to back away, and go home for the evening...

Askthepizzaguy: "Yes.... in Soviet gameroom, Pizza orders you."

This post implies three things; that you skim-read Ibn's post (how does one skim-read a sentence?), that you believed he was making a good point and that you joined him in voting for GH. It does not imply that your vote was randomised; au contraire, in fact.

It's true that Pizza isn't too fond of investigators (and roleblockers, killers...) metagaming him, but that doesn't mean that he wouldn't use them in his own games (wasn't there an investigative role in Revengening 2?); my guess is that they'd be in a reduced capacity though, probably scanning for something like susceptibility to recruitment rather than outright alignment.

Which means that he is a cult leader that attempted to convert me and failed. This makes me think I might have a hidden ability on that front.
Unfortunately, that isn't possible, because the rules state the following:

If I remember correctly, you also voted for me in the ill-fated KnightTimeII(). Now, you can't possibly think I'm scummy in two games, can you?

This implies to me that you have some kind of personal grudge against me, for some reason. You best drop it so we can find the real cult leaders.

GH now that I am dead can you please explain your reasoning behind your view? Also I will hound you on this one at the end of the game if you role town at this point. Since to be quite honest if you are town then what you did was at least not in my mind in the spirit of the game, the only mitigating factor would be if you are scum in which case I bow my hat to you for getting a townie lynched with great ease and no explanation.

My only vote in that game was a joke vote for Amsel's pun, you voted for me based on that, I didn't vote for you at all. In this game, your opening vote strikes me as odd, moreso since you rationalised it as being randomised even though the comment that accompanied it inferred anything but; I can't be the only person to think this, surely?

Your second paragraph disheartens me, though; I'm not one for holding grudges and I don't really understand how you'd infer that from my accusations, particularly as our interactions prior to this game have really been nil. I'm truly sorry that you feel that way. :/

Oh yea, I guess you're right. you didn't vote for me that game. Sorry, my mistake. But still, voting for me two days in a row based based off a Day 1 vote is kind of ridiculous.
