Little correction there, there was a need for workers. There was not a need for the workers to stay and import their entire family, but the left made sure that happened

No.
During the 60's and 70's, most europeans still had free immigration. This meant that third-worlders, notably pakistani's, came here to work a couple of years, then they returned home as rich men.
But the racist European right could not stand to see brown people in its streets, its homes, its workplaces. The brownies had to go! Thus, in the late 70's and early 80's, europe closed shop. All the countries halted immigration to 0, which is where it remains today. Contrary to popular belief, it is not legal to migrate to a european country. What this meant, is that the immigrants who had planned on going home the next year suddenly decided to stay. If they went home, they could bever go back, their door to an econpmically viable future would be forever closed. So, they stayed. And as they would never go back, they brought their spouses, their families, and settled down.
Previously, we had working, young males who came here for a couple of years, then returned home. Thanks to the wonderful insight of the European racist, we forced them to settle down and bring the rest.
I blame lobotomy.

Still maintain that crying on the pitch should warrant a 3 match ban
