Romanic, that's a yes and with this latest writeup we have a revision on what the Naked-Killers are. It's quite possibly a different killer each night, not one serial killer, and explains why the one kill failed before too, as it seems some third party is causing townies to attack other townies (a poison that sends them into a rage).

Devious way to avoid a scummer possibly being scanned or traced too.

The question is whether the root cause is also Jotun or Loki & co. Maybe someone has a lead on what happened the night there was no Naked-Kill attempt at all too, iirc.

It does seem likely that Tin Cow is Gyda, and my guess is that she might also be a Jotun. I'm also going to guess that the Berserkers are caused by Loki, now that we know it's an external force. It seems like the kind of thing he might pull. Any opinions on which is higher priority?

Yes, but Gyda being in the game was not known at this point. When I read "her", I figured that classical made a gender mistake. I didn't realize he was revealing her identity with this pronoun. I rather thought the keyword was "activities", meaning CH had a night ability.

And then my reasoning was, if someone is revealed as having a night ability, why is he still alive after 4 nights has passed? Surely he must be a Jotun.

Overreacting implies emotion I believe. Show me which part of my answer to Reenk displayed such emotion? My last sentence was a warning to him that such games were not helping the Town, because I know who I am. I don't read much emotion in it, but maybe it's because I didn't really feel much, except that Reenk was either playing games or be a Jotun himself. Since the game seems to be so much in favor of the Jotun, at this point, it seemed to me that Reenk was probably playing games, and it's no time to do so, hence the warning. Reenk's play already got a vote on me, I guess that I was right about doing so.

Who was it talking about a "protective amulet" or whatever on that Arnvid guy? Looking at the writeup again that doesn't really seem indicated and it could be a lie based on trying to fool people from a previous Midgard game. As Loki & co may also be behind the berserkerness that's also worth a check, the real reason the attack failed maybe simply being they chose one weak townie to attack another.

Getting a Jotun would be better for the town. But the risk of not getting anyone is really bad, that the standard tratorix, Diamondeye, etc... cases are not enough of a guarantee if someone doesn't have more to say. Loki/Loki followers are more of a guaranteed lynch.

Roink would be an excellent lynch on the Loki front, especially if you deem Loki a higher priority than the Jotun anyway, and even if he just shows up as human cult Andres and the Jotun might still have some dueling to do tonight that would buy the town time.

Romanic is still right about that though. No guarantees from the host and a townie would not necessarily know, worse trickiness on setups has been seen before. There's not a guarantee you weren't NPCs, both you and the "usurper king." By the way we should probably be on the lookout for him also being in the game, and also anti-town, if you're telling the truth TinCow.

If you're town Tincow you desperately need to tell the town anything else you know about other characters and VCs that are not standard. And you could confirm to people who need to know if ATPG is actually the last King I suppose, is your King (father) one of the dead ones or would that be him, or he is an NPC, I haven't really checked?

You can tell, you don't know Reenk. Reenk is kinda like Joker off "The Dark Knight" and it really shows...he loves chaos and you can never tell whose side he is on. In all the games I have played with him, he has show that he well throw fellow mafia buddy's under the bus if need be. He well also throw fellow townies under the bus for the lulz. But Reenk still hates to lose.

Reenk also made a good point about you knowing Renata's role. The fact that you can't seem to accept that most players here might ignore it, makes it all seem more true. The proverbial "Digging one's own grave".

A particular big fella stood forth from the Hordaland camp pointing at the Rogaland sod who had uttered the hateful words against Gyda. The Rogaland man just shrugged; I spoke the words that are on everyone’s tongue, but dare not spit.

The Rogaland man kicked the Hordaland man in the roe sack which caused him to be dropped. The Hordaland man needed a few seconds, but then he came at the Rogaland man with his battle axe drawn. The Rogaland man drew his own fine and sharp steel blade and with a quick Varangian tri-combo wounded the Hordaland man so that he dropped his axe... and his head.

A large man was sitting alone contemplating while polishing his was hammer. The Jotun... He could sometime smell them, the filthy sods
they were. But then the vapour would disappear. They must be here, hiding.
A stranger appears, carrying two horns of mead. He sits himself opposite the large man and offers one to him. The large man accepts, always thirsty. The stranger holds his horn high; To Gyda and her usurper lover. The large man holds his high too, but doesn’t reply. It was a strange skål, but hey... mead is mead. Skål!!
The large man drinks deeply... the liquid spilling from his chin. He wants to drain the horn in one go, but there seems to be no end. He gulps and gulps but there is no end to it.
This is ridiculous, He could draw a whole pitcher in one go, this mead horn was but a fraction of that. He finally couldn’t sink another drop and throws the horn away. It lands and sea-water is gushing out of it.
The stranger laughs; I can’t believe you fell for that twice.
The large man spits and then it dawns on him as he can smell it. But it was too late. A pair of huge hands grabs him from behind with such force that his shoulders feel as they are being pulverized. The stranger gets to his feet and where a normal human was before, a huge creature with yellow eyes stand. I guess you wish you were in your true form, but you can’t change as fast as we can... the horn he is holding in his huge hand changes too and becomes a large trident which he places at the large man’s throat. The large man struggles; You!!
The creature laughs with a chill voice and talks to the one who is holding the large man in some guttural language. The large man gets angry and starts to pull away from the creature holding him. He summons all his strength and by sheer will power taps into his true core. He feels his arms fracturing and shoulders dislocating. Then the Creature lets him go. The momentum that had been building up catapults him into the trident which runs him through.
The creature holding the trident pins the large man to the ground with a powerful stab. The large man struggles to get loose, but the other creature is there holding something over his head. He smiles and then drops the 20 ton boulder on top of the large man, utterly crushing his body. The large man suddenly finds himself standing by the Bitterfrost Bridge, red hair and beard flowing in the wind. He yells toward Midgard; I will have your heads for this Jotun.
He slams the ground with his mighty fist and Midgard trembles, waking people up in the middle of the night.

Gyda Eiriksdottir sneaks out of the forest, looking for a place to rest when she hears someone yelling from the right. She stops and hunkers down. A half naked man comes running towards her. She first thinks he can’t see her, but he looks pretty determined to reach the place where she is. She gets up and starts running but her skirts doesn’t allow for speed. The man soon catches up to her and swings his Frankish sword at her. She barely gets away, but a crimson stain appears on her back. She explodes; You insolent maggot!!!. She turns and meets the crazed man head on with her own blade. The man seems under the influence of something. His eyes are blood red and white foam is running from his mouth. She suddenly remembers; Berserkrgangr!! This man is poisoned. With cat like movements she dances around the wild swings of his expensive blade. It is not easy as the state he is in, greatly enhances speed and strength. This won’t do – she can’t die, here, not like this. She draws on her inner strength and suddenly lashes out, lopping off the crazed man’s arm. The crazed man doesn’t seem to lose momentum. He tries to grab her by the throat with his free hand. She is angry now. With a twirl and a strong slash she takes his head. She walks slowly up to the now still body and its silent head. I will not let you jeopardise my mission, fool man. Gyda dries her sword on the grass while scanning the area. I hope no-one noticed.

Tormod Safte Olavsson was tired after a long day of discussions. He wanted nothing but sleep.
He would not get any... As he walked alone near the camp, he was attacked by a crazed man whom seemed intent on killing him. This man was yelling and screaming with spit and saliva foaming around his mouth. Tormod took to his side, but didn’t find his sword. That’s right, it was being oiled by a serf man. This was not good. The crazed man wielded an axe and small trees were chopped down by the swings that missed Tormod.
The crazed man continued his advance and Tormod’s leg got caught on a rock. He fell to the ground and didn’t feel the axe cleaving his head.
The crazed man continued into the forest howling like a rabid dog and suddenly dropped to the ground exhausted.

The morning came and dire news with it. Two kings were slain this night. The King of Sunnmøre and Rogaland lay at the feet of the Hovgod who looked genuinely sad. This is dire news indeed. Let’s hope we can contain any anger that their retinues might have. And let’s keep this under wraps for now. We do not want their home kingdoms mustering.

From what I understand the only thing I can contribute is stuff that is already public knowledge.
Trust me though that you want to hear from him. Or you can just lynch him without that, I'm fine either way.

Actually yeah, I just checked the writeups. The Hordaland King isn't dead while the three others are (Nordmore, Sunmore, Rogaland) and I don't think there are any other countries mentioned.

So ATPG or guy-ATPG-is-covering-for are the remaining King/Champion and should be able to confirm if TinCow is the princess.

It's also possible Roink is Harald/the usurper, now that I think about it, though him and Loki allying for that purpose isn't any better for the town even if true.

Anyway town is still looking abysmal though and I don't have much more to help, just finished off those leads and loose ends, good luck, maybe you'll get lucky, maybe the Jotun will defeat Loki and the other non-town cowards too at least.

Oh and Diamondeye is actually a good call for having killed me, all things considered, as it appears the poison rage was directed after all and not a SK. A lynch on Diamondeye would be swell.

King driven crazy by Loki, attacks as meatshield, all of the "Naked" Attacks seem to be like that. So yes, the King Believer attacked Gyda. The one other time it failed was more likely because a weak townie was sent after another townie. Not a guarantee (it coudl be someone other than Loki) but an explanation worth repeating.

Yes, I suppose this is actually a good idea under the circumstances. There is a human role out there somewhere that is trying to kill me. I have no idea who it is, but it's why I was so annoyed to be named as "her" earlier in the game. If that person is still alive, I will not survive the next night. I have an activity investigation power. So far, all results have been inactive:

N2 - Andres
N3 - Renata
N4 - Tratorix
N5 - DE

There's no way Andres wasn't active if he was Loki, who probably does stuff right? So either he's not Loki and just fronting for him again, or maybe he's able to drive other people crazy to do his bidding, but still. The others maybe are simple townies after all but that would leave us few leads on the Jotun, most unfortunately.
