Any ideas on how Crusader Kings could have been improved on for this guys?

I liked Crusader Kings so I guess I'll play, I don't know anything about Game of Thrones though, which could be a problem

So long as we get enough people you should be in a team and others could fill you in on the background. You should at least watch the first episode of the tv series, not even for the game it'll help fill that empty part of your life you didn't know existed until then.
