I have a question for people who have played in previous Capo's - how is a kill attempt on a mafia Don (protected by his Luca) depicted? Common sense would decree that it would appear as a one person successful protection, yet that seems too obvious - the Don would just be lynched the next round. So does it show up as a 'lucky' escape or something?

that is how you read it, the way i see it is that ive helped to bring down someone who scanned guilty. i admit i did not know that when i contacted him but i got lucky and i helped the town for its sake and not my own.

As for The Stranger, I haven't read his posts, but from what people here are saying, it's the usual The Stranger style in mafia games. A lot of blahblahblah that doesn't make much sense, accusations thrown around at lighting speed and a lot of spam and nonsense.

In general, dead players remain good for analyzing posts, giving their impression of the game, and recommending lynches, they just need to completely omit any discussion of their own role or actions during the game. Essentially, just act like you are an independent observer who never had a role to begin with. From the rules:

This is to prevent the forming of an undead, pro-town network that can be trusted purely because their roles have been revealed as bona fide town. Were this to happen in a Capo game, it would ensure a town victory and break the game.
