I'm puzzled by your role PM editing, since there were 3 attackers...
Did you really not get that? Yeesh. Ask TLD, perhaps he understood.

It was probably an attempt to lure the scums into mistake by copying his falsified role PM.
At first I thought that, but then, seeing how he spoke of repeating vengeance, I seen it as his way of clearing himself...
Of course it's WIFOM to bring this up now, no question, on the other hand we saw three killers last night and he's already lynched so, yeah.![]()
So one of the killers spoke with a hammy scottish accent. Will the audition with the hammy scottish accent therefore be mafia? I'm still not certain what degree of intelligence we're sposed to be gleaning from these auditions - perhaps someone who has played jhts games before can bring me up to speed.
I assume I'm way off the mark here, as no one has mentioned it so far, and as a 'clue' its as obvious as being hit in the face with the murder weapon, but Speaking of national stereotyping: Is it me or is Arjos' brazen reveal actually incredibly incriminating? 'Rudi' is a fake fat Italian Ninja after all.
vote: Arjos for being a fake fat Italian ninja - until someone points out that I'm being incredibly stupid, at which point I'll happily switch to - I don't know: A lurker maybe?
See this I don't get it, much like last day phase, monty after seeing my PM with bold town (if his plan was to get a mafia copy-pasting it), voted for me... That doesn't make sense to me...
Your audition was a success. The only success of the ones revealed. In the last game, all innocent auditions had a clear pattern over time, and the scum stood out from the rest. If this is the pattern, then you are a clear target for lynching, and perhaps also Beskar if he's not lying about his success.(Which he very well may be, thinking it may make him look innocent) The bad news is, it makes it a bit easier to forge a pm. The good news is, when someone is lynched, we'll know if they were legitimate or not.

Vote: Arjos Your death is more important then your life at this moment.
I didn't even see that monty changed his PM 'til after a second glance...
Mine is genuine, and your "success" theory doesn't make sense, plus lynched people don't get their audition up, they get kicked from the show...
If you think I forged mine, just wait 2 phases and my audition is up...

As to the pattern, let's see a few more auditions. Or maybe those who haven't revealed yet, could go ahead and do so.
Also, I've started to wonder if maybe the "incriminating" thing about the auditions might not be the videos in and of itself (otherwise I don't get why JHT didn't prohibit us from posting them) but parts of the writeup around it.
I think its a bit too early to do some grand theories about the videos, there's a bunch of them we haven't seen.
Unless something truly stands out, I'm rather more interested in analysing posts and behaviors then videos. To that effect, I'd like to understand what's so wrong with Arjos' reveal, seems fine to me. Lazy McCrow's rationale of being a "fake italian" is a clue to being mafia is tenuous I think, but what I find even more egregious is Skooma's post theorising about what a successful audition means or doesn't. That these two wild theories happen to coincide on the same person boggles my mind.
By the way, here's mine:

I agree with TheFlax, it's way too early to try and figure out what the auditions mean. We should probably wait until more evidence surfaces before everyone starts conspiring about the videos.
Looks like Flax was a success as well.
There are many factors to consider:
Pop Idol / Xfactor / Got Talent
Location of the Show
Success / Fail / Non-Serious audition (Mont's)
Male / Female / Group

Yet to post auditions: Autolycus, B_Ray, Csargo, Captain Blackadder, Warman, Secura.
I honestly think the mass revealing of auditions is against the spirit of this game, considering the role that they were intended to play in the progression of the game. Since JHT's not openly bothered by it, I don't guess I should complain, but I will refrain from prematurely posting my own.
Anyway, I haven't actually watched any of the shows that these auditions are from, but after watching some of the ones posted so far, I really wonder what constitutes a "success", particularly with America's Got Talent. For the time being, I'll vote: Flax because his was the only one not from America or Europe.
I love your list, Landlubber, well done.![]()

I don't think you forged your audition, I just thought it stood out and as TheFlax also points out, my reasoning was self-admittedly tenuous when I posted. However, the fact that the Arnhem Land Islander (with their Greek mafia song ;P) and the quite excellent 'General' Larry Platt/Zack also had successful auditions equally as bizarre as Arjos/Rudi makes me feel like we DO need to see more to form any opinion and the fact that none of the three had a scottish accent as well leaves me feeling like success/failure as a clue is a dead end anyway.
@B_Ray - I already said the same about posting auditions in advance maybe being against the spirit of the game, but that is up to the host to reinforce. We ARE allowed to post them, so how does keeping your audition to yourself help town?
Seems like more of a hindrance to me and I can't help feeling suspicious of anyone who won't post theirs.
But most of all its time to hear from those who aren't posting. So I'll,
unvote: Arjos, vote: Autolycus
(damn - forgot to bold)

Death to Lurkers
I am pretty certain that JHT, being evil, would not make it easy for to find out who is mafia just from the release of audition tapes. That would make the game too easy and I don't think John would be that naive to make the game easy for us to get the mafia right, just from that. I am going to go with someone who hasn't released their audition tape yet. vote:Secura
I apologise for my silence over the weekend, I've been without a computer (t'is being upgraded after three years ¬_¬) and I've only just gotten online at work, of all places. >.<
I am Fabia and my act led to dozens of complaints to OFCOM; I won't spoil the surprise you're in for.
I'm with you on this; the first two games took some sort of critical thinking to solve, finding a connection between roles and how they differed from the town's, so winning the game via mass-revealing of host PMs feels a bit cheap in comparison.
Which game are you referring to? Can you link this? I didn't see a third game anywhere.
I ask because while this was the case in the first game (the scum's cover roles had 'obvious' choice songs that a teenage songstress might know, the town's choices were all obscure parts of their musician's catalogue), it was not the case in the second; in that game, there was little to distinguish between the mafia and the town's roles, and it was only a footballing link (both mafia's roles were Manchester United fans) that helped us lynch them both.
