Mate, I refer you to a game I hosted a long time ago, The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror. The many mafia families utterly dominated that game, and then they turned on each other with few townies left to fight them.

The end result was one gangster, one townie, and one serial killer left.

It's not over until it is over. That said, new tactics would be advised.

I wanted some action so I began some discussions with the mafia about cooperation a long time ago but due to trust problems is was hard to get anywhere. I then contacted Pizza and said I was trying to infiltrate the mafia but needed people that protected me and killed mafias. This was only to get some names so I could gain respect among the mafia. At this point Pizza's intentions was revealed and I realised the town needed any help it could get.

So I was actually close to joining the dark side myself but for action and entertainment rather than money and might. Now the action is in the fight for the towns survival.

That sounds positively Hollywoodian in its optimism. In any case, there are too many unknown variables (Or, unknown unknowns) from the town's perspective for them to avoid a Gameroom Dien Bien Phu - and you and me both know this :3

I don't understand the analogy.

As in, town tried to lure the Mafia into a trap to fight on town's terms after the great victory at Capo III, only to misjudge the circumstances and watch any hope of escape swirl down the drain due to inaction?

Or that GH has been in secret negotiations with town, who would like him to modkill all the Mafia?

Or that the town, while fleeing before the Mafia, will fall back to the secret weapon and unleash it upon the charging Mafia hordes, delaying ultimate destruction by a nother day?
